Great Value
After researching digital pianos my realization was that I should prioritize the release date of the product: these pianos are essentially computers, and the sound quality is determined by its polyphony - this model is relatively new and has 128 note polyphony, Many pf the popular Yamahas, which I’m sure are good, have been around for 5 or more years and support only 64 simultaneous notes. So processing power is important. Bluetooth is also important if you plan to use a learning software using your tablet or phone (as a side, I am an adult and teaching myself the piano, tried a few - and these software courses are not the way to go, imo). The other benefit of Bluetooth is that you can connect the piano to a wireless speaker for better quality and so, the built-in speakers are not that important. This model also has a built in metronome, which is also convenient because of course, ability to use a headset and practice in silence is a big reason why I wanted a digital piano to begin with. Of the 4 ‘voices’ this model comes with, I use the piano the most and it is very pleasant to ear - this was confirmed to me by family members who play an acoustic piano and can tell the difference. The use interface - several push buttons is very easy to use, and to me the simplicity isa big plus - it is great not to have visual disruption of LCD screens and digital interfaces. Finally, I find the keys pleasant to touch, the build quality is solid, and for this price point, I think it is great. It takes many years to learn piano, especially if you want to read sheet music, so, no need to be too stressed about this device being just like a piano. To learn to play, it is perfect, and I enjoy this device every day.

great keyboard
This is a great keyboard! Excellent value for the money. The speakers aren't that great but acceptable. I mostly use headphones which sound great. I love that my mobile device connects audio through Bluetooth which flawlessly comes through the headphones. I've listened to non music though it as well. Its amazing. I like the myriad of sounds Roland provides. The feel of the keys are great. Not really weighted but I didn't really expect that anyway. I wish that there were more accessories or add-ons to buy from Roland. Would have really been nice to add on more sounds and such but alas, no.There are features that I might never use however all in all I would buy it again for the purpose of learning music. There is nothing on the market that does what this does for the money.I dislike the touch intensity of the keyboard. I keep the key intensity setting off. Why? Pianos get louder when the keys are struck harder. This does too but it sounds odd on this keyboard. It sounds too digital so I keep it off. I really enjoy this keyboard and would buy it again.

Unique Product At This Price Range
Satisfaction:- I think this is the lightest keyboard on the market with full-sized keys, onboard speakers, touch sensitive buttons (except for the power button), 500 quality sounds, etc.- The key action has the rubbery feel that is a bit unique. But once I get used to it, it feels quiet nice.- The record mode allows many layers of overdubbing from all categories (piano, organ, strings, brass, drum, bass, synth, fx/guitar). The sounds are all already professionally mixed and they will magically sound good together. This is real nice for music production ideas.- Nice color and design. It will look good outside in the park, in the woods, the beach, etc.Setback:- The acoustic piano sounds are not as great as the Go:Piano (Go:Piano's GO Grand is more dynamic than both StageGrand & ConcertGrand on the Go:Keys). However, Go:Keys has the same EPs and plus more.- The onboard speakers could be a little bit better.- There isn't a split mode. Conclusion: I have the Kawai ES110 and the Yamaha YPG235. This Go:Keys definitely adds the fun part. Would buy again and recommend it to beginners and intermediates.
