Excellent piano stand
This model is very good. Lightweight and I like locking mechanism. I would suggest that you pick this over the double braced one. So far so good. No complaints on this one.

DO NOT LISTEN TO REVIEWS SAYING THIS "COLLAPSES" -- HERE'S WHY...
I almost didn't buy this stand -- the BEST keyboard stand for anyone not ALWAYS playing at a FIXED height that just happens to EXACTLY match one of the strictly restricted 3-to-5 presets on most other stands -- because a bunch of people who don't understand how logic and simple machines work posted a bunch of panicked reviews about how this thing randomly "collapses." HAH! Bull***t!!The infinite-height adjustment comes from two sets of circular opposing serrated plastic jaws. If those jaws are compressed tightly together, you could probably stand on this thing and see the metal bend before those jaws "slipped"...how tight they hold will be a function of HOW TIGHTLY YOU CLAMP THEM.So, using JUST the little clamping "lever" provided, ESPECIALLY if you can't/don't adjust ITS tension so that it really "snaps" into place (like anything else with a "snap-past-resistance-and-STAY-there" mechanism), what happens during these "collapses" is, either that little lever gets snagged or was never really "snapping" into place so just sagged out of position or whatever, and that little "snap-lok" handle releases and there's nothing holding those "teeth" together--and these people are cursing the teeth, while not holding up THEIR end of a simple mechanical maintain-it-and-it-can-work arrangement.BETTER YET, though (because who among us will not at some point snag a little lever in the dark at some point--& even then other band members, drunk civilians, etc etc) -- try what I did, and have never had a second's worry since...If you don't have the second greatest thing since duct tape -- a roll of material that's Velcro hoop on one side and hook on the other, so you can use it to wrap while adhering to itself -- or, alternatively, there are very nice "strap and slot" arrangement, both elastic and non-elastic, that are effective little velcro-nylon-&-metal "cinches" if you want a a less "rough-hewn" look lol -- get something like that. Could even be a small bungee.Then, adjust your keyboard stand to its current-use height, snap that lever over -- THEN FASTEN IT DOWN with either velcro-hook-loop-roll-strip or mini-bungee or ANYTHING that secures that little lever TIGHTLY [so, preferably ELASTICALLY, but TIGHTLY will do], and you will never, EVER suffer these "horrid inexplicable collapses [clutch pearls here]" reported by the panicked set.You'll suffer the minor inconvenience of having to momentarily undo the sticky-or-elastic-cinch over the handle for each adjustment -- but the solid assurance that each adjustment will be VOLUNTARY & ON PURPOSE is WAY worth that momentary bit of fuss lol.{The double bars and handle position offer several ways to lash it down right, but be sure to check you haven't done it some way that would just slip off if pushed the wrong way...it can **look** like it **should** hold, to your eye, but tug it a couple different ways to be SURE...or my implicit warranty is void lol}
