Excellent Power Conditioner!
The Elite 15i has made a difference in my home entertainment setup. At first I wanted to protect my new LG G4 better than a power strip. At first connection I couldn't believe the difference it made on my TV picture quality and soundbar audio. Picture quality noticeably improved in clarity and contrast. Not saying night and day, but noticeable.AB tested with a Furman PST-8, Paramax MR4300, and the Elite 15i for over a week. The Elite 15i consistently had the best picture and sound in my environment. As for sound, I did not expect any improvements on a soundbar. The sound appeared improvements in clarity, played louder, better subwoofer dynamics, and an improved sound stage. Also tried the Elite 15i with both PC audio and 2 channel systems. To my surprise, the sound quality and sound stage had improved as well. The 15i was clearly the best of the three models, but with much AB testing between the PST-8 and MR4300 on my PC audio system, the PST-8 won me over the more costly model.Build quality is excellent! I wished the Elite 15i had display dimming like the Paramax as I don't like seeing any distracting display lights when in a dark environment. I now have Furman products on all my electronic entertainment units and happily satisfied with not just the protection, but improvements in sound and picture quality in my environment.

Bargain power conditioner for Home Theater
Very well built line conditioner and surge protector. I only needed 7 outlets so this model was a perfect fit.I noticed audio and visual improvements immediately. Definitely worth it, particularly at this price for the excellent build quality.

Protected your home audio, video, and computer-based equipment with Furman
This appears to be a product that does it's job well. It really "shouldn't" impart a sound into your audio system, unless your AC power is noisy...and then it could help clean it up a bit. My AC power is good. I bought this to protect the devices connected to it: A DAC, a computer monitor, and a Mac Mini that is my audio server. The problem with evaluating a unit like this is that you really don't "know" if it's working....ever. You know if it doesn't work, because a nearby lightening hit just took your equipment. But if it works, then your equipment should survive electrical issues.Furman has a great reputation for power conditioning, and that's why I chose Furman. It is a small thin 1RU (1 7/8" high) unit with a voltage readout on the front panel. The outlets are on the back. there is a utility light that can help you with checking out the equipment status for the equipment mounted underneath. This unit replaced an older Monster unit that failed. So far so good!

Soooo bright but solid unit
Does it’s job and build quality looks great. I do t use the lights to the “only faces straight down” complaint on here does not apply. The voltage read out screen could light your entire living room -seriously. It’s so bright, the numbers appear as a haze of light. Do yourself a favor and grab a pack of dim-it tint stickers for a few bucks on Amazon when you order this. Your eyes and your neighbor’s eyes will thank you

fried my equipment
Had expensive equipment hooked up to this. Came in one day and it indicated high voltage and equipment was fried. I actually had my dvr connected to same outlet but with cheap surge protector. I used different protector for this since I keep dvr on all day. The dvr was fine. Nothing else in the house had any issues including another system I had upstairs. No clocks in the house were even blinking. I cannot believe how much I paid for this and how much damage it did.

Excellent product with some nit-picking
I'd buy it again. I'm happy with the purchase. That said, I'd like to voice two specific complaints: 1) the LEDs can only point down. Sure there's some swivel, but you get about 60 degrees of rotation centered on straight down. This limits their utility and, should you want to use them, obligates higher rack placement. Mine's at the very bottom and, as a result, I've really never used the very nicely made and effective LEDs. 2) the display is too bright and there's no way to adjust it. Nit-picky, yes, agreed. I would love to be able to dim it a bit. That's it! Otherwise it's robust, choke-full of features (surge protection, noise filtration, and power monitoring), and thin enough for varied placement. I'm confident that it's protecting my equipment.

Nice features, corrected hum problem
There's a lot to like about this product, and a few things to know before deciding if it's right for your application. The lights that pull out can be really useful, but understand they only aim downward. So, like me you'll probably want the unit at the top of a vertical rack of equipment. This allows the lights to shine down on the face of the components below it. It also means the power cords from those components would run upward and be plugged into the Furman. I like this because it keeps the power cords away from both the interconnects and speaker cables. The outlets are separated into zones, which is helpful for isolating the larger current-drawing equipment from the source and DAC components. What's lacking is the sequential power up capability that would turn components on one-at-a-time. If you think you need that option, do no buy this unit. As far as performance goes, the Furman eliminated a nagging low level sonic hum I was experiencing. It was worth the price simply to correct that problem. I highly recommend this product.
