takes time, keep giving it daily and offer lots of fresh water!
so far so good....my dog likes it do it's easy to give it to him. Seems like the strong urine smell is starting to smell better but its only been a week or so. I do think this is going to fully heal his bladder infection. He had a surgery that makes him more susceptible to bladder infections.

Saved from vet trip
My dog started peeing in house which is not like her and I assumed she was getting or had a UTI. I bought these and literally within a day she was better but I continue to give to her. Saved me from an expensive vet trip. She gobbles them up like a treat and loves them. I continue to buy these as a preventative for her. My other dog tried one and didn’t gobble it up but he ended up eating it after a little bit. You can break it up and put it in food if needed.

Don’t Cut It-Break It
My only complaint with this tablet was that it disintegrated into small pieces and powder when I attempted to cut it for my small dog. I read a review that said they break it with their fingers. That did the trick! Clean break. My dog thinks it is a treat.

Assisted in Struvite Management
My rescue dog had bladder stones, the fact that she was rescue is pertinent because we don't know how long it took her to create them or any nutritional history which could affect her medical history. The stones were surgically removed through open cystotomy and sent to a lab. They were struvite stones. The good and bad news about that is that struvite crystals can be nutritionally managed in many cases. My dog is on prescription C/D food, a very strict diet that we cannot stray from. If we do, her urinary pH goes straight down the tubes, very alkaline. That increases the risk of infection and that's bad because infection clumps the crystals she manufacturers in her urine into solid stones. Exactly what we don't want. While the C/D food does help to raise her pH, it wasn't quite where we wanted it for optimal urinary health for her. How do I know? My vet taught me to catch urine samples and dip a pH strip to gauge it. If your dog has had stones or is prone to urinary infection, I really recommend doing that, the pH strips are sold here on Amazon, too (and they're not expensive). This brings me to these supplements. With my vet's permission, I bought these supplements. After three days on them, and I only give her one a day (she's 35 lbs), her pH was finally acidic enough to naturally fight infection. Her optimal pH is between 6.5 and 7.5. Other than one infection when we relaxed some of our dietary restrictions, she has been UTI and stone free for one year post-op. Her x-ray is clear. I give at least partial credit to these supplements, because they are what finally put us into the healthy pH we were seeking.I know this is long, but I also know there are other dog families out there like us who have special diet needs. Please never stop making these. She eats them like a treat, and she is allowed no other variance from her diet.

Cured persistent urinary cystitis in my cat!
Prior to using this one of my cats suffered from urinary cystitis. The poor baby would cry in pain and strain to go potty. Often we would see blood in her urine. While a trip to the vet for some antibiotics would take care of the cysts, I wanted to prevent them to begin with! So, we turned to a few OTC supplements to try and help her.We tried this (the most expensive), one by Vet's Best (super cheap and also contains slippery elm - which helps with passing hairballs), and a third one that was a drop (I think it was called UTI Remedy?) that you add to the water dish. She would avoid the water dish with the drop in it, even though it was supposed to be odorless and tasteless. So that was out. She wouldn't touch the Vet's Best supplements. So that was out - luckily the dog loves them! And then there is this pill - she comes running (and I mean a full on sprint!) when we jostle the pill bottle. Highly palatable AND it works! She hasn't had observable difficulties in over 6 months. She is more playful than ever and is super loving. We give 1/2 tablet a day to both of our cats (even though only one really needs it). It is a little challenging to split them - we usually just do so with our hands. When it does crumble, both of our cats scramble to lick up all the "dust." I'll call that a win - I don't want them to change the formula to make it less crumbly if it means my baby doesn't have problems. I don't know what I'd do without this product. If you're getting this for a singular cat, know that it's technically 120 servings (4 months worth) since you split each pill in half - so please use that to put your mind at ease if you're concerned about the price.

Bad purchase if you have to cut tablet in half-it just crumbles!!
These tablets are huge and I have to cut them in half for my small pup. The problem and reason for the bad review is that when breaking these in half they just crumble! It’s absolutely ridiculous!I have to waste all the crumbs because I want my pup to get the proper dose. I can’t put the crumbs in her food because she’s not a steady eater. Soo.. I’m wasting $ on these because I’m throwing away the crumbs! I will never purchase these again & I would not recommend! I like to cut my pup’s pills up ahead of time so they’re ready to go! What a big mess!
