Great at Noise Canceling and even better sounding
I have Sony NC headphones that I bought 40 years ago, before BT, and they were perfect for the air travel that I did. I have used many different BT NC headphone since, and have to say that these are the best. I live in South Florida and our AC is very noisy when running, which is much of the time. These headphones cancel that noise to the point that only the cold air makes you know that the AC is running. Also, while I am not an audiophile, my hearing is discriminating enough to know what sounds great to me - and these are the best for my ears. They are smooth across the spectrum. I listen to several hours of classical music daily, so the sound quality is important to me. I have returned others that were not so good. These have touch sensitive controls that are appropriately sensitive - I have others that had to go back because they seemed to have minds of their own.

ELITE HEADPHONES
I NEEDED TO BUY A OVER EAR HEADPHONES SINCE MY AIRPODS WAS GETTING ME ITCHY EARS AND MULTIPLE EAR INFECTION. I had to buy these head phones especially on sale the bass is elite and the sound quality is amazing. The touch pad for audio volume, pause, skip is also so convenient especially at the gym or just chilling. While I know it’s not fully water proof my main uses are gym and school (uni). If Sony ever makes these full water proof I will buy in a heart beat. The app is really easy to use and convient it has multiple audio setting for anything from boosted bass to vocal focused. If your also worried about hearing loss it give you an estimate of how much db your at. MUST BUY

Perfect for what we needed
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked these headphones because they were on sale and because they are made by Sony, which is a brand that I've used before and have had good experiences with in the past. They don't completely block outside sound unless you use them to listen to music so they are not true noise canceling if that is what you are looking for. They can be used with Bluetooth or a wired connection and we have never had any problems connecting them to our devices. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time but can get a little sweaty. Overall they are great headphones and we are satisfied with them.

Overall nice
I use these to mow a few hours a week. They fit well around the ears, very comfortable. For the price point of $150, the mids and highs sound good. I can hear the difference on the base boost but nothing amazing where I'm feeling it. Just my preference considering I have a sound system in my car. (2 p2d2 12s). The noise canceling technology does work good as well as the technology for ambient sounds. (Turned on by accident while mowing, very loud considering the circumstances) Overall, good buy. My son has a pair of sonys too. But his were $250 set. Don't remember what model they were off the top of my head. He uses them daily and loves his. Not a bad set for the price point. You could do worse but could do better for a little more money and more research on what your looking for

Excelente audifonos Sony

The first smart headphones I’ve EVER cursed at
This is the first time I’ve ever cursed at a piece of hardware. These headphones fight you at every step. I don’t care how good the audio is if it only works when it feels like it. On Windows, it connects, plays audio for a second, then drops. Every time. I reset it. I removed all devices. I did everything right. It still does whatever it wants.Mic doesn’t work over USB-C. Doesn’t work over aux. Bluetooth mic is trash. Audio only works when the mic is disabled, and the moment you try to use it for a call, it switches into a completely unusable mode. I’m not exaggerating. The mic sounds like it's coming from a $5 toy headset. And the worst part is, none of this is documented honestly. You’ll follow the help guide, waste an hour, and end up exactly where you started. The app is required just to get basic functionality. Not optional. You need it to update the firmware, turn off features that are actively breaking the connection, and force it into a stable mode.Even after doing all of that, it still cuts out. You only get stable audio when every so-called “smart” feature is turned off.The volume is artificially limited. I don't want headphones that parent me. It’s restricted by design and you can feel it. Nothing sounds like it's hitting with full power, even when it’s supposed to. You can’t override it.Everything about this device is designed for phone use. That’s it. It acts like a mobile accessory, not a real pair of headphones. PC support feels like an afterthought. It looks good. It sounds fine when it works. But it doesn’t work consistently, and when it fails, it fails hard. Worst purchase I’ve made in years. This thing drained my energy. I’m done.
