The media could not be loaded. Only one slot, but you can load 2 pieces side by side. I purchased to cook naan breads but ideal for Brioche buns and crumpets. Six different heat settings plus reheat and defrost.

It looks fab, works well with oversized pieces of toast or ciabatta loaves etc.Does toast more unevenly than other toasters I've had but not to the point it's a problem (but then hubby and I are not fussy over that so if that really bothers you this probably isn't the toaster for you!) We chose because of the slimline, stylish look on the worktop and wanted it to toast bread. Lost 1 star because of the uneven-ness of the toasting but definitely happy with it so far.

Good toaster. Bought along with matching kettle. Slots not quite long enough for farmhouse loaf but other than yet it is very good. It’s quick and toasts very evenly. No bagel setting or “pop up and see” but overall very good.UPDATE: Now returned as toaster seem to be TOO quick as it toasted the outside ok but the inside was not as it should be - too soft. This was even worse for frozen bread.

I don’t usually write reviews but this item really needed a shout out. If I had of gone by the reviews I read I would not have bought this as it’s not true. I have only just bought this but have used it many time to check the performance. As stated in most reviews it does not burn the toast at all, if you want burnt toast then yes set it to high then you’ve got it.Beautiful design easy to use very good value for money works perfectly and makes perfect toast. What will happen further down the line I don’t know but as of now it’s perfect

Returned same day.The toaster is fast and looks good, but the heating filament has gaps along the sides, so one part of the bread gets burned, while the other part stays totally soft. I have tried different positions for the bread but you have to burn one part to toast the other. Rubbish. Uneven toasting; it is fast though.

I sent the first toaster back as it was burning part of the bread black, while leaving other parts completely untoasted. I could see the element inside was heating unevenly. I spoke to the manufacturers and they sent a replacement which is an improvement, but still doesn't toast properly. In particular with thicker slices or denser type of bread, the surface is quickly toasted, the edges going black if I'm not careful, but the bread inside remains soft and tepid. I think it might be toasting too quickly? It's set the smoke detector off a couple of times, but the inside of the bread slice is barely warm. Scrambled egg on toast is a soggy disappointment. I like the compact size and shape and that it blends well into my kitchen, but it doesn't toast as well as my old Philips Surise toaster which is no longer made. Perhaps it's best for less dense bread.

Very happy with this 2 slice toaster, 60 seconds on full and you're good to go. the eclipse kettle matches well too. 3 weeks in and zero issues with either. Would recommend.

So disappointed with this toaster,I though I'd found the perfect toaster with wide slots and good looking too,unfortunately it doesn't perform well, toasts unevenly ,burnt edges before the centre is toasted,I would have returned it but I've thrown away the box,not sure if I can still return it without the box,has anyone else?
