Landscapes in Watercolour: Techniques and Tutorials for the Complete Beginner

I almost over looked this book as it had popped.up in my searches multiple times. I finally read some reviews that said it was a great resource. I love the layout, clear directions, the graphics are wonderful, and has a nice variety of exercises that can enhance your skills.

The book is clear, with straight forward explanations of the techniques. The book is beautifully created with lots of wonderful pictures. I highly recommend this book by Lois. Her tutorials are awesome also. Luis is very approachable & easy to understand.

As a beginning watercolorist, I found this book to be very helpful! It's nice to have a hard copy in one's hands as well as the video to learn from...I highly recommend this book!

I follow the author on her YouTube channel, and still do, and became a patron for a while. Her tutorials are precious for a beginner like myself. Her book is also very helpful to learned landscape painting in watercolor on my own pace and time.In sum, she makes landscape painting in watercolors much less intimidating to me.

I was so excited to see this book on Amazon after following Lois on her Youtube channel. The material is very well written and presented, and each demo is inspiring. The book itself is beautiful. I highly recommend it to any beginner and intermediate level artist and it's a perfect gift for watercolor enthusiasts.

I like Lois' art so much and do paint her tutorials ... this is great book for a beginner as it has everything! and I will keep it it; it's so well done. The ink and wash paintings do not have the color or feel of what I paint or strive to paint ... BUT.. ink and wash is very user friendly and has great value. Also its satisfying.The book it is just not as lovely as her paintings, but it will answer all questions and become a wonderful reference to keep for ever...
