durable and reliable
The first thing that caught my attention was the wooden finish. It gives the turntable a classic, elegant look that adds a touch of charm to any room. The craftsmanship feels solid, and it’s a visually appealing piece that complements my decor beautifully.Setting it up was straightforward. The counterweight adjustment is an excellent feature, allowing me to fine-tune the tracking force to ensure smooth playback and protect my vinyl records. It’s a thoughtful addition that enhances the overall experience, especially for those who care about preserving their collection. The Bluetooth connectivity is one of my favorite features. I can seamlessly switch between playing vinyl records and streaming music from my phone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The connection is stable, and the sound quality doesn’t suffer, which is impressive. It’s perfect for when I want to mix vintage and modern music without changing devices. The HiFi system delivers excellent sound quality. The audio is clear, with a rich and balanced tone that does justice to my records. Whether I’m listening to soft jazz, rock classics, or modern hits, the sound feels immersive and enjoyable.

It does record onto USB memory stick.
The media could not be loaded. It's a good looking product that's easy to use. The arm seems flimsy but it needs to be follow the grooves truly. The play back from L.P. records is good , limited by small speakers built in for portability but couple up to external speakers via the 3.5jack plug supplied it sounds very good for a cheap deck. The manual says this model does not support recording but it does. I recorded onto USB from a L.P. vinyl with good clarity. It also pairs up to blue tooth so you can play a signal from your mobile phone.Overall good value for money. The record deck platter has suspension to counter accoustic feedback. So don't think there's something wrong when you touch it and it wobbles, it is supposed to.Don't forget to remove the stylus guard. A nice present for someone.Lightweight easy to carry.but always remember to secure the tone arm with the clip before carrying. The box itself is quite robust.

sturdy and compact sound quality not so good
admittedly this is cheap for a record player and it looks well made and appears sturdy enough and quite stylish and it could be used by a young child with 2 minutes instruction - and obviously it is portable (the handle appears quite strong) and you trade some quality for that - but the sound quality from the built in speakers is not great - you can obviously get around this by plugging it into a phono amp, but that does kind of detract from the portability benefits. the various connectors and usb socket to allow recording onto digital format are a really nice touch. this was bought for my daughter to take to college and it is more than suitable for that purpose and it is good value (one of the cheapest of the stand alone portables I looked at) which is why I still gave it 4 stars overall

Perfect gift.
Brought for my husbands 50th birthday and he loves it. It’s easy to put together and the sound quality is great. He’s not the easiest to buy for so this has also opened lots of other gift ideas for Father’s Day, Christmas etc. the whole family ate getting enjoyment out of it. Also, fantastic that you can play music from your phone through Bluetooth.

Disappointed
I purchased this not expecting audiophile quality but I just wanted to listen to my records. For the price it looks great, fully adjustable, Bluetooth and a decent stylus even if it is a cheap one. I wanted to use headphones so bought a headphone amplifier to use with this, thats when I noticed the issues. On most records the sibilance was awful and had distorted lows. I purchased an LP gear eliptial stylus as that is the recommended upgrade and my issues persisted. At £150 pound it looks quite the deal but you can get much more for your money on the used market.Maybe I had a defective model but it will be returned. I am now listening to my records on a used Pro-ject Debut 2 which sounds great.

Novelty Item, but the quality could be better
The concept is a good one, harnessing the resurgence of vinyl and it is a cheap novelty item, so not much should be expected of it. However, the sound quality is extremely poor and build quality has me worrying about the longevity of the product.

Better than expected
Very pleased so far - connected it to my Denon AVR receiver via Bluetooth and the sound is very good. Early days but lovely to hear my vinyl again! The thing I found the most fiddly was the counterweight- took me ages to get it on successfully.
