Was reluctant to try this project as DIY but after reading comments decided to try. SO HAPPY! Totally redid my flowerbed. Was easy to complete. Take advice and set small hose in the sun. It makes it easier to attach heads. Lay out your plan. Wish the large hose attachments that some were two prong and not all four prong but it’s fine. Bought another one for my other flower bed.

Takes a bit to set up but worth it. I wish it came with sod pins or something to nail it down to the ground or mulch (had to buy those seperately). I also found I needed to add on a lot to it - including a timer and extra central line.

Bought this for the far corner of my yard where we don't have a hose bib nearby. Ran a 100 ft hose along the fence to this so I have accessible water back there. Install was super easy with a drill, just 4 screws. I chose to mount it behind a big tree as opposed to the wooden fence and it looks great. From the front you can't even see it. The hose itself, the housing, and retract mechanism feel really solidly built. I've tested it out already and it works awesome. The only thing I would improve is the sprayer head, it works well so far but feels a little light. Expected a heftier sprayer but no complaints. One thing I thought was unusual was that the hose sprayer setting "rinse" seems to be what is normally "jet" on other sprayers. Haven't seen it called that before but works just great. At this price point, just buy this! You'll love it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have this irrigation set for less than one year (Sept 2024 to now June 2025). I just noticed that the hose connection plastic part that attaches to the water source (or for me the water timer) has completely snapped in half - so making it violently leak so much water that half my plants have died (I didn't monitor closely recently). I have two sets of these, and it snapped in half on the one I also had that had no water connected as well. Meanwhile another brand I bought around the same time is working perfectly fine still.The other parts work great still but be careful! If you don't notice in time like me the huge water leak from the hose connector snapping

Nice little kit that was easy to assemble. I did have to buy 1 more 4 way connector, a few more heads, plus a 3-way main line splitter, and some extra 1/2" tubing. Note that the drip line tubing at Home Depot doesn't fit because of a larger internal diameter, better to go with tubing from Amazon. This is a much more efficient way of watering, hopefully it will help keep my water bill lower this summer.Oh, also, I figured out if you have a bit of thick plastic, you can use that in place of an end cap on one side of a connector to finish a row.

There were enough pieces and tubes to do all the plants on my deck, saves me a lot of time and is more reliable than my hand watering. Timer and tubes are in season two with no problems. The instructions for the tubes and connections were a little short but not hard to figure out on my own. Dipping the tubes in hot water helped with the connections.
