This is a great tool to have. Makes reading codes and resetting maintenance lights a breeze. If you perform your own BMW maintenance you will want this tool. The software is easy to download and the program is simple to use.

Sucks I have to pay 300 bucks to reset the service reminder, but it’s cheaper than working with a dealer.

Easy of use, Works on my BMW C650GT 2015. You can check sensors, clear maintenance notifications like oil change. Good product.

This tool, or one like it, is a necessity for someone who works on their own BMW motorcycle. It performs the BMW Motorcycle systems diagnostic that your Dealership performs during service work. It performs this diagnostic function on what appears to be all of the different series of BMW (only) motorcycles.I bought it to perform the systems diagnostic on my 2014 BMW K1600 GT Sport and complete its 30,000 km service. Worked flawlessly as advertised. Resets the service alert, autoscans the bikes (8 or 9) controllers for 'Fault Codes'. The Fault Codes pinpoint potential issues with the bike, the frequency in which they have occurred and also if the fault code issue is still present. The GS 911 can then CLEAR these codes resetting all of the bikes monitored system parameters to zero. I do not know how many total fault codes my bike can communicate to the GS 911 but I can tell you there are at least 2 dozen associated with the AUDIO CONTROLLER alone.I purchased the USB version (Enthusiast Version) and hook it up to my WINDOWS Laptop PC (non-mac). The downloads were quick and easy. Its simple to use. I used the AUTOSCAN function and it produced a neat report of the scan and results. You can then save this report as a .pdf to a records folder on your laptop. Whodathot.A WIFI version of this tool is available that will allow you to drop an APP on your phone, it was $100 more so I passed. The USB Version I purchased for $299 ... OUCH. This is pricey but one must remember that the tool can be hooked up to nearly all the different series BMW bikes. If you buy a different or additional BMW bike you can use this tool on the new bike. The Enthusiast Version allows up to (10) VIN's. This allows you add new bikes up to 10. I added a friends K-bike and performed the same diagnostics he needed.I gave it 4 not 5 Stars due to the $299 price tag. Selling it for something less ($199) would seem possible and take the ouch out of the purchase.Highly Recommend.(NOTE: When purchasing check to see if you need the OBD adapter cord, my bike needed the adapter)

If you have a modern, fuel injected BMW, you need this tool to get into it's head. You can read fault codes and reset maintenance intervals. Without it, you will have to rely on a BMW dealership.As of this writing (May 2021), it's not fully functional with the new 2021 BMW R18, but when they come out with a firmware update, that should be taken care of it.

Just reset my service reminder with ease. Download some software from Hexcode's web site, connect laptop to GS-911 to bike, and read it. You have to add the bike's VIN before you can probably reset anything (I had to add my VIN to reset the service reminder, I assume clearing fault codes requires adding the VIN as well). This Enthusiast version can store 10 VINs. There's a bunch of error codes that my bike was storing that I don't know what they do and weren't active, so this thing can see a lot.

The GS-911 tool enables you to understand what's going on with your bike and do the routine maintenance it requires. While the GS-911 is an expensive tool, it is essential and will save you a lot of money in the long run. My only complaint is that it only operates on Windoze machines, they need to port to Mac. The interface is straight out of the 90's.
