Usaburo Spring Kimono Kokeshi Doll

Well crafted beautiful traditional japanese doll! Highly recommended, it makes a great gift. Not too big not too small, perfectly decorated.

My favorite to have

I've been wanting a Kokeshi doll for awhile especially one made in Japan. I saw this while scrolling and though it was pretty. Once I got the kokeshi doll, it was bigger than I expected which is great. Made me happier to see how gorgeous it is in person and the craftsmanship is very nice.After buying this one, I am tempted to buy another kokeshi doll from this brand.

This was purchased as a gift for my son’s language teacher. It is a beautifully made doll, great quality and very substantial (heavier than I expected). It will make a perfect thank you gift for her on graduation day.

Doll looks as pictured. I like the unique brown haired kokeshi dolls. Usaburo is one of my favorites. Started my twin nieces on a collection when they were born. This will be doll 6 for one of them.

This is a beautiful Kokeshi made by Tanaka-san of Kōjō Kokeshi Kōbō a family of Kokeshi crafts makers. All of whom have won awards for their various Kokeshi designs. This particular design was originated over 35 years ago, titled Spring Dream, and is still a favorite of many collectors. -Madelyn (Kokeshi Village)
