Q: what is the rpm of the motor?

They are variable speed up to 3000 rpm. It also depends on out put voltage and what the driver is set for.

Q: Will this kit work with Mach 4?

This cnc kit only can work with USBCNC Software,because the breakout board is USBCNC Control Board.

Q: What other software is compatible with this?

I use Mach 3 to run the cnc, and aspire software to design. You have to buy the license for each to use them.
