These work great and would have given 5 stars if the battery and clip were stronger. It sits on our vent hood and it constantly comes off when I try to use it. Really it's annoying when I think about it. Timer portion works though.

This timer has quite a few issues for how simple it is.1. It beeps for every minute/second you add, even if you hold the buttons, which is quite annoying. You can turn the beeping off, but it also turns the alarm off.2. There is no support on the back, so you can't press the buttons while it's stuck to something using the magnet.3. THE WORST PART - It turns itself off occasionally, almost like it's going to sleep because of inactivity, making it not perform its only function of being a timer.

These timers are pretty basic, but were just what I needed for a coffee shop application where simplicity and ease of use is needed. The display is minutes/ seconds, two digits each, so it has a maximum of 99 minutes, 59 seconds. Countdown from an entered time or countup from zero is easily done. The timer can be set up with the hinged clip to stand it up on a counter, or the magnet on the clip can be used to hold the timer to a metal surface. There's also a hinged hanger on the clip to hang the timer from a hook/ screw/ nail. The magnet is strong enough to hold the timer securely, but not too strong to make it difficult to relocate. The display is large (1-7/8 x 3/4") with clear to read black numbers. The AAA battery holder is secure. When the timer goes off, either an audible alarm or a small blue LED light will be triggered. The interface is simple with three-button with MIN, SEC, and START/STOP. To clear the timer, press the MIN and SEC buttons simultaneously. Overall, this looks to be a good general timer with an intuitive interface and looks fairly rugged.
