Perfect for opening any size bottle or jar
So brilliant, I'd used at a friend's and bought my own. Very well made.

Opens tins nicely
Does exactly what it should, so far without fail. Easy to use and comfortable. Super sharp. The magnet on the end isn't as useful as it sounds as the surface tension of the stuff in the can often is far more powerful than the magnet. The fact that it locks shut and you have to press a button to unlock it takes a bit of getting used to but again it works as intended.

Excellent tool
Would recommend this tool to anyone with arthritic hands, to remove jar lids, bottle caps and a must for ring pulls.

The ease of the opener
I especially like the ease that I can open ring pull cans, owing to arthritis it was impossible before I purchased this item. It’s worth very penny

Package Failed To Arrive... UPDATE...
I can't review the product as it failed to arrive. It shows as delivered, but an attempt to state this in the delivery review simply resulted in an error and the review could not be repeated. This is not the first time that this has happened.Good product.

better than nothing
Found the belt slips on smaller lids and tends to come loose unless you hold it whilst unscrewing the lid, then it works ok

If ONLY it opened cans?
What a disappointment especially given it only has one job to do, that of opening cans! Let me explain. So like most people (and given the prevalence of Ring Pull Cans these days) .... we only occasionally need a can opener which up to a few weeks ago was adequately covered by our good old faithful opener which has done us proud for a good 18 years but unfortunately (as we all do) it finally gave up the ghost necessitating the need of a replacement. After reading many, many reviews (Strange, but where have they gone? This opener use to have loads of reviews which have all mysteriously vanished! But I digress...).... I chose this one, as it was for us, time to catch up with the modern world and get a so-called all singing, all dancing Safety opener ... or Safe Edge one as this is marketed. It arrived nice and timely and initial views where it was a bit fiddly to use but I persevered and got the hang of getting the tiny blade to engage with the Cans rim whilst flicking the handle up into it's locked position and initially for a few weeks it seemed to work. But as it's only perhaps gets used at most twice a week given those more modern ring-pull cans we now have in our supermarkets ... you have to play the game of 'wait & see' to glen whether or not it is actually any good.Well I have to say we did not really have to wait that long to be honest as some 7 weeks on I am saddened to have to report that this particular Can Opener [Zyliss E930027 Safe Edge Can Opener, White/Grey ] is no longer a CAN OPENER!In all it has probably opened a dozen plus cans since we've had it (... not all of them successfully I should add) but now it just does not want to know! Whilst getting it to lock into place was a little Hit or Miss to begin with, now even if it's ''locked on'' it just does not want to turn the can as you twist the handle and the more you try, the worse it is. In fact I've even tried spinning the can by hand whilst the wife turns the handle (very comical I have to say) .... but still nothing! And as those great comedians might say ....... ''It is a Dead, ....deceased, ....expired Opener ..... it is no more''!So be warned, if your looking for something to easily open a Tin Can .... this is not the Opener you are looking for!!!Take my word (or not) but know this ..... I've paid and wasted my money on this piece of garbage just to find out how poor it is at .... Not Opening Cans!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Addendum]Since writing this review I have tried to preserver with this opener, perhaps giving it the benefit of my doubt but also as we had a can to open in lieu of our replacement opener arriving!Anyway as I say, I have tried to preserver and in doing so have noted the following. The issue of it not working correctly seems to be with your average Tin Can, the likes that are quite thin and flexible that hold the likes of Tin Veg, Beans, soups etc ...But with the more 'robust' tins that the likes of Tuna and canned meats come in (we run an animal rescue centre as a sideline and as such feed many such meats to our charges) that have thicker rims, no doubt to the fact their contents are actually cooked within the can ... it still works (just) with them! Not a great thing to have, a Can Opener that only opens some tine eh. And one last observation. Of the Tins it failed to open .... it left a partially spilt Tin Rim as well as lots of little shards of metal which could easily contaminate the contents of said Tin should you carry on trying to open it by other means! [a quick wipe around with a cloth, watching you fingers before you carry on helps?]So there you have it, a total disappointment of a Non-Opening Tin Opener!Best of luck if you decide to go for one ... just be warned!
