Amazon Fresh, Mashed Potatoes, 26.7 Oz

I use a ton more butter than the directions call for and also 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk. Recently I have also put in some sour cream. They are so yummy. I come from potato country and when I make them like this, I can’t tell they’re not real potatoes. Saves a lot of time not having to peel potatoes.

great product and flavor. just basic dried potatoes, and a great price. I use this in so many things, bread doughs, as a soup thickener, added to meatloaf, casseroles and other similar recipes (don't get me started on my periogi lasagna!), and of course, when I don't feel like making mashed potatoes the old fashioned way, they're good for that too. just odd that they come loose in a cardboard box (of like a set of six), and not bagged inside the box, so just be aware of that...I just open them up and put them in a large baggie to keep fresh. will always have this on hand.

Product is a expected and tastes great. Value is good. Packaging is where it loses points. No inner bag means that if your box is mishandled you will have potato flakes everywhere. Luckily it wasn't raining when they dropped this off. Be warned. Maybe order this separately or just go pick some up in person.

Love the fact there is no milk added to these instant potatoes. I'm lactose intolerant and am so happy to have found this product. Also they taste good, I just add my nonlactose milk to them.

Most instant mashed taste like paste. These are as good or better than the expensive single serving packs. I make them with milk no water and add garlic powder and salt.

I bought this product as I am on a restricted diet for texture, gluten, fat. Perfect as it meets my diet restriction and it's quick to prepare.

Edit: Disregard the lower part of this review we back to 4 dollars boys!!!!!This was a great value when it was $4 in November 2023.Was a Good value at $5 in early June 2024.Terrible value at 10 dollars in late June 2024.The taste is fine but, for $10? Not a chance I would buy a better quality brand or go without.

These potatoes are plentiful and inexpensively priced. If I had a big family, this is the one I'd buy, but not for taste. (I actually gave some of this away to a bachelor neighbor, warned him that he'd have to doctor it up in order to really enjoy it.). Seem very bland. I fix it up w/ left-over chicken soup, add spices like onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and a bit of butter. It's budget friendly (or was when I bought it), and there's enough for a big group, or hungry teens. For me, other, mainstream brands are a whole lot tastier.
