I got the large hive set with 2 deep boxes and 2 honey suppers. Great hive! Well built and easy to assemble. The pieces fit together tightly and are double dipped in wax. The entire hive was tightly packed in a single box; I can’t believe the Fed-ex guy could lift it nonetheless carry it all the way to my porch!

This is a kit for a full bee hive. It is well done. The parts are cut accurately and fit well. I got this all together including all 40 frames in a couple hours. It is not difficult with basic tools. Power tools make it alot quicker of course. Will see how well the wax finish holds up and how well the bees take to it when it warms up. Getting another nuc in a few weeks. So far I recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. I’m doing this review in February. I bought this hive last April. It did great through the winter! The price is much less than other hives I’ve seen but the quality is impressive. It’s a standard size Langstroth. The wood had a good wax coating on it initially. It will probably need to be painted in the future. I’m really pleased with this purchase.

Reason for the 4 stars is the plastic foundations will need another coating of wax. I have 2 suppers from 2 different orders that the bees never drew on till after I rewaxed the foundations. Once I did that the bees drew it out perfectly. I will be ordering more. Just make sure you have beeswax on hand to add another coat before putting your bees in them

I purchased this as I prepare for next years honey bee acquisition! I am absolutely in love with this hive!!I had previously had spinal surgery. So I have about a 20 lb lift. But this was so amazing and simple. I did need a screw driver , hammer, wood glue and a carpenters square.These are so nicely waxed, the parts were tight fitting at dove tails. It went together easily. I did use wood glue on the internal frames. Nailed them in each corner.I’d highly recommend this hive to anyone who is new to bees like myself. The value of the hive itself is absolutely wonderful in this economy.This hive is all inclusive. Even the door adjuster.. I’m in love with it. Beautiful solid built for durability.Pre drilled for easy assembly. I will be purchasing a second hive. Do not be intimidated by the build. It was so easy. I called this my jinga box .. so many pieces I was intimidated at first. I built the bee boxes first. Then took my time adding the assembled frames. It took me just a little over 4 hours. But if you’re healthy and strong with a good stand and lift ability. It would probably be a lot less.I highly recommend this product. I just can’t say enough good about it.

Excellent bee hive box.

Well it been almost 2 months. We like our hive so far but we found that when the bees did start to build on the frames that they were very off. Found out this is common with frames that dont have a even coat of wax on them so we ended up losing a month of time. We ended up spraying the frames with brood booster every 3-7 days and its helped with the proper builing. Our hive did come with a few dents and such but not enough for me to say this is an awful hive and seller. Highly recommend that you coat the frames with wax if you purchase this hive. Good price. Arrived fast and took almost 2 hours to put together. Instructions are questionable but youtube helped a lot. It is my first hive i have put together so there was also a learning curve.*update*Seller reached out to me and sent me a replacement. The replacement still arrived damaged but still changing my review from 3 stars to 4.5 stars (Still a 5 star with rounding). Lost .5 stars because it seems that packaging is an issue as this is the 2nd one damaged. None to less the seller is very cooperative and understanding. I would still purchased this hive.
