I don’t normally write reviews but in this case I feel obliged to as it’s such a good product that has helped my partners pregnancy/birth so much.Brilliant design, good support and well made. Easy to assemble and has been a godsend through every stage of pregnancy. Great adjustable position for the back rest, good firm back support, nice rocking motion too. My partner had difficulty sleeping towards the end of her pregnancy and frequently ended up sleeping in this chair. Also through the beginning stages of labour she felt most comfortable sitting in the chair rocking back and forth. Great design for breastfeeding and rocking the little one to sleep.I cannot rate this product highly enough, in fact I’m sitting in it now listening to my son sleep in his cot next to me ☺️Money well spent.

I wasn’t sure whether to invest in a breastfeeding chair as I thought surely our normal furniture would suffice. After hours and hours (I’m sure breastfeeding mothers can empathise!) spent feeding on our sofa, which although comfortable is quite low and soft, I was developing back pain with some radiation down my leg. I researched breastfeeding chairs and thought this one best seemed to fit, I like the fact it has a glide lock so if you don’t want to rock all the time you don’t have to. It seemed quite expensive so I hesitated for a while and waited to see if it would be in the Black Friday sales. Alas it wasn’t so after another week of back pain I bit the bullet and ordered it.I’m very glad I did. It’s very comfortable and supportive and I’ve noticed a big difference in my back pain since using it. It has handy storage pockets at the side for putting book, water, phone, snacks etc in. We also use it as a chair for soothing to sleep which helps take some strain off the arms from walking to sleep.I’ve given it 4/5 for ease of assembly but have to admit my husband did it! He tells me it was simple and it only took him about 15 minutes.The only downside I’ve noticed is that the closeness of the arms mean baby can’t fit right in the chair when feeding. This would likely only be possible for a short number of weeks after birth depending on the length of the baby. It doesn’t cause too much problem though as the arms are padded so I put our little ones legs onto the arm or have him at an angle. I think the only way round this would be to have lower arm rests or gaps in them for little legs to fit through but then it wouldn’t be able to have the pockets which are very handy when sitting feeding for long periods!Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and definitely feel I’m getting my money’s worth!

The first one I got sent was missing arms - I had to cancel the order and then re-order instead of just having the parts sent (amazon's fault). The first one looked to be a return re-packed, which was fine except it was missing parts. The second time around I spent a bit more to get the same seat with a break. Its a bit more, and I don't use it but I think it's worth it for the times I will, perhaps when the little one is a bit older.The chair is comfy alright, it's really helped get our little one to sleep, and sometimes even myself. So for something quite inexpensive for a chair it does represent good value for money. It creeks on occasion but largely glides silently. The little foot-stall takes my weight too 14st 88kg, so it's sturdy but it's probably not sensible to sit on it generally.It's pretty straight forward to setup and it looks very easy to clean. It's not the height of luxury but it is very good at the job you've hired it to do. I wish I didn't have the issues with the first one as we bought this belatedly and anyone with a baby knows that means you needed it yesterday so having to send it back just prolongs the agony.

Fantastic chair, very comfortable, easy to assemble, excellent quality and smooth silent mechanics plus very easy to assemble. Bought one three times the price elsewhere with my first child which was awful quality, uncomfortable and didn't last long so I was apprehensive about getting another with our second child but honestly it is an amazing purchase that as a family we enjoy and looks great in our front room.It arrived within days of ordering! One of the back cushion ties was detached on arrival but as soon as I contacted the seller they graciously agreed to send me a replacement back cushion immediately and existing back cushion could stay as a spare. They are the best sellers I have ever encountered and the whole experience has been nothing but stress free and gratifying which is exactly what you need when 8 months pregnant!!!

I was surprised that i managed to put the chair together by myself. It took a little while but i did it. I am 5 ft 1 inches. I am not sure how comfortably a bigger person would fit in the chair. I am a older woman who bought the chair for relaxation purposes. After reading previous reviews, when sitting upright in the chair there is nowhere to rest my head. That doesn't bother me as i didn't buy it for that purpose. It may well do in a more reclined position but i haven't tried it. The padding is firm but there is no lumbar support. I have ordered lumbar support to be able to sit in the chair. The quality of the wood is good and well made. I love the gliding/rocking motion which goes very well with the footstool which moves in tandem with chair.
