Good cable

I needed a replacement micro USB to connect my Novation Launchpad Mini to a MacBook air running Farrago. (A sound board app) Like most of you I've collected some micro USB cables over the years. They work fine for charging various devices but the Mac refused to register the Launchpad as a MIDI device with any of them. I've had a couple of Rhino HDMI cables and they've worked fine so thought I'd give the brand another crack and there it is. Was soon as I plugged it in, Appropriate flashing lights and links when you activate learn MIDI.These cables are about 4mm thick and don't have braided outer covers and tbh I think that's for the good as it seems folk are hiding thin and weedy cabling under braiding and hoping we won't notice.Anyway if you're a musician and need replacement micro USB with midi capability. Grab a Rhino.

Powers it with no issue , fits snug , etc

Worked with basic connection tests to charge things, but on my device it kept dropping out. Thought it was a faulty device, but when I went back to an Amazon basics cable of the same rating, everybody worked fine. Can't find any faults with the cable, but disappointed with it's reliability.
