📚 Cambridge Jotter: The Quirkier the Notebook, the Wilder the Stories! 🌈✏️
Hey there, fellow note-takers, scribblers, and secret poets! Today, I'm diving into the fantastic world of the Cambridge Jotter, and let me tell you, this notebook is like the Shakespeare of stationery—a poetic masterpiece. Prepare for an epic tale of love, embarrassment, and career misadventures—all courtesy of this deceptively innocent green notepad. 💚📖Introduction:I stumbled upon this literary gem because, let's face it, my thoughts needed a fancy home. I expected a notebook, but what I got was an invitation to the wildest rollercoaster ride of my life—through ink and paper, of course.Unboxing and First Impressions:The packaging was so posh; I felt like I should've been wearing a tuxedo to unwrap it. The moment I laid eyes on these green wonders, I knew my days of writing on the back of old receipts were over. The notebook screamed sophistication, or maybe that was just me screaming as I saw the pack of three.Features and Specifications:200 pages of pure, unadulterated potential. Lined pages so neat they'd put my life to shame. The cover? Green, like a field of dreams waiting for my genius ideas to sprout. How to Use:Open the notebook, stare at the pages for five minutes, scribble an illegible sentence, and pretend you're J.K. Rowling plotting the next magical saga. Repeat as needed.Personal Experience/Story:Picture this: a date night where I thought I'd impress my significant other with my deep, philosophical musings. Little did I know, my profound thoughts about the universe came out as a shopping list for cat food and an elaborate doodle of a potato riding a unicycle. Romance at its finest. Then came the parental encounter. I decided to gift my parents a glimpse into my poetic soul by reading a heartfelt poem. Turns out, they're not fans of avant-garde interpretive dance while reciting sonnets. It ended with them questioning my life choices.Lastly, I thought I'd skyrocket my career by bringing the Cambridge Jotter to a meeting. Disaster struck when I accidentally doodled a stick figure of my boss wearing clown shoes. Long story short, my career path took an unexpected detour that day.Pros:Makes you feel like a literary genius, even when you're writing your shopping list.Perfect for doodling complex life problems you can't solve.Cons:May lead to unintentional clown boss caricatures and subsequent unemployment.Comparison (Optional):Compared to regular notebooks, this one is like switching from a tricycle to a rocket. Buckle up, my friends!Value for Money:For the amount of laughter, therapy, and unintended chaos this notebook brought into my life, it's practically a steal. Conclusion:The Cambridge Jotter is not just a notebook; it's a journey. A journey filled with laughter, embarrassment, and the occasional existential crisis.Recommendation:If you're ready for a wild ride through the pages of your imagination, grab a Cambridge Jotter. If you're not ready, well, buckle up anyway.Final Thoughts:In the grand novel of life, the Cambridge Jotter is a plot twist you never saw coming.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Five stars for turning my life into a comedy show and making me the unintentional star.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable and versatile notebook
I've been using the Cambridge Jotter A5 notebook for a few months now, and it's become my go-to for both work and personal notes. The 200 pages provide ample space, and the 80gsm paper is smooth, making writing a pleasure. The wirebound design allows the notebook to lie flat, which is great for note-taking on the go. The perforated pages are a handy feature, making it easy to remove and file notes when needed. Whether I'm jotting down meeting notes or sketching ideas, this notebook handles it all with ease.

Good value for money
I bought the notebook for taking notes and I am happy with my purchase. The notebook is good quality and good value for money. The pages are smooth and easy to write on. The wire bound design makes it convenient to flip the pages and fold the notebook. The only downside is that the pages tend to rip off a bit too easily from the perforated edges. Sometimes I lose some notes when the pages fall off. I wish the perforation was stronger or optional. Overall, I would still recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable notebook. (Picture of page tearing without me wanting)

Convenient Size and Good Value for Money
I love these notebooks and use them regularly for work. They're small enough (A5) to fit in a small briefcase or satchel, but with 200 pages they're big enough to contain notes for a hefty project. The dual spiral also means they're robust and not subject to twisting or breaking the way thinner spiral-bound notebooks can. The page perforations make it easy to tear out old pages or use them for other notes. Despite this being the age of the tablet, old-fashioned pen and paper is sometimes easier, quicker and more convenient.

Very fountain pen friendly considering the price!
After being a pukka pad jotter buyer for many years I was looking for some cheaper pads that work relatively well with fountain pens. Pukka pads jotters have terrible feathering. I had heard from youtube that cambridge pads might be good for fountain pens (there is a review about cambridge legal pads foutain pen friendliness). Coming here I saw some reviews saying these are good for fountain pen use. After purchasing and testing I can say that I am thoroughly impressed. These exceeded my expectations. The feathering is so minimal, even with my TWSBI Eco medium nib (which apparently sits somewhere between a standard European medium and a Japanese medium). Dry times are roughly 15 seconds in 25 degree celsius dry weather. Maybe a bit less. Bleedthrough is non-existant for regular writing with my pen and ink combination at least (aforementioned Eco with Diamine Deep Magenta). Showthrough is very good. Prefectly usable on both sides of the leaf.Considering these are 3 for £5 you're talking just over £1.75 per pad for something that works so well with fountain pens. Buying Oxford Black N' Red's work out at over £5 per pad! Rhodia pads can be gotten as cheap as £3 per pad but have the longer dry times. The Cambridge Jotters really are the best of both worlds. I still can't believe how good they are, especially for the cost! One caveat seems to be with gel pens. These must be coated to take fountain pens better, which means the dry times are atrocious for gel ink. I can still smear it after multiple minutes (this is a uniball signo 307, which is known for longer dry times and being highly lubricated). This is with a slightly clammy finger in the summer heat. It's probably best not to touch as much as possible if you're using a highly lubricated gel ink. Something drier, like a Zebra Sarasa fares much better on this paper. After 30 seconds no smearing occured. I'd recommend sticking to using quick dry style gel inks for this paper. Pentel Energel and Pilot G2 should both be fine.
