This extender has a soft tip that is erasor like to prevent scratching boards but could easily get dirty on a whiteboard while rubbing off the odd bit of marker here and there. The telescopic length can hold in place at any point between fully extended and fully retracted which is a plus because it's a tad longer than desired. It collapses down to fit inside a bag or drawer and allows you to point at something below a projector without fully obscuring the screen with your body. It also offers respite from the projector lamp blasting down at you since you can stand clear to the side.It can be used to press projector power on buttons without needing to mantle the desks when the remote enviably goes missing too which is a perk. You do have to be very careful swinging it around as you could easily hit the projector or if co-ordination is a challange your own head.Do be careful.

Easy to use and sturdy

Very strong thick pointer. Nice and bold, not a delicate conductor’s-baton-esque pointer but could be seen from the back of the room and it’s very long.

Flimsey

It is a bit stiff to extend fully but I don't think it is built to last only bought it for a devising performance at university
