While not exactly a woods ready axe. It came in good condition and was easy to sharpen.

It's not a heavy duty axe the handle does seem very light. I have used it for felling Small trees and limbing them it did a great job. It does hold an edge but isn't hardened crazy so you can stone an edge back on the head in less than a minute. I'm disappointed tho I thought it was going to be my everyday all day axe. There's not a chance it could stand up to some serious cabin building.

It's well made and is what the picture shows.... the problem is the wood they use is so light weight you can tell this thing will break right away. Thought it would be a good limbing axe like it says but I don't think it would last long at all. I would return it but I bought it for someone's birthday present and it won't ship back in time....

Very good tool. I'm Chopin oak 9"-6" diameter with no problem.

The glue/adhesive used to bind the axe headAxe was beautifully made. But the adhesive/glue used on the axe head melted. Had to leather wrap the handle. Other than that it's become part of my norse/scottish viking outfit.
