Stainless Steel Door Latch Sliding Lock Barrel Bolt (3-1/2")

Used it for the door to my furnace and a pantry. It is nicer than a regular latch. Was easy to install and has held up very well. I recommend these.

This door latch worked great as a replacement for a broken latch on a fitting room door at a clothing store I do commercial maintenance for. I only needed to replace one, so I'll keep the other one from the two pack for a future latch repair as I am pretty certain the job will come my way in the future.

This is not a deadbolt or a secure latch to keep from someone from breaking in. Best way to describe use for this is for a shed door that swings open constantly and need a latch to keep it shut. A gate perhaps. In my case a door at work, cleaners never give it a good pull to keep the door shut. The handle on the outside is always locked. So the latch I got thought was a solid sliding lock. Nope, as described by others it’s just a thin flimsy made latch. It will work for what I need. Keeping the cleaners to have to pull the door and slide that latch over to keep the door completely shut.I paid $15 for 2. Only needed one but even on eBay could got the same quality for two for $5.

These are installed on my dog's custom crate doors. The hold in a closed position even though installed vertically (slide up to close). I did break off a couple of the screws that came with the pack - I was using a drill gun. They are kind of cheap metal and it didn't say to hand crew only. problem is the screw head completely broke off even at low-speed screwdriver use and the screw is stuck in the wood now. I had to change the position of the latch as I couldn't put the screw in the place where the broken one was. Wish there has at least been a packing writing saying to hand screw to avoid breakage (or even better, provided much better quality screws - I got my own from Home Depot).

It did exactly what I ordered it for it saved me a lot of money! I have an older classic Airsteam camper and a latch that holds the screen door to the entrance door broke and I could not find a new one but this one worked great Great price nice product

These latches are fine-they sure will latch something. The pictures make them appear to be a solid item. They are not. they are fabricated out of sheet metal (stainless I'm sure) but parts are tabbed together and nothing is solid. Like I said they will latch things but they are as cheap a solution as they come.

Great product to avoid establishing barricades at home office. Instead a lock works better. I had a french doors and had to make some adjustments but that’ll keep the kids from entering during conference calls.
