This set is very easy to setup and is very compact.You can see my crude test of chipping a rubber ball while trying to hold the camera as I chipped.Nice settings and variations to help with chipping. I’m using it my garage as it is getting colder outside.It works free standing and I’m pleased with it.I recommend this chipping net.

It's simply a pop-up net like for soccer that was slightly modified. Hard to follow instructions. I had to figure out where the support stakes go by looking at the listing photos since directions are all over the place (FYI they go into what looks like a double-sided velcro strap). It's hard to get everything lined up correctly, lots of adjusting and readjusting the back support and the velcro attachments. If not, the net will be crooked or the whole thing falls over (happens more than it should). Not sure what I was expecting (more solid build) but this was not it. Hope this helps.

This is a great way to practice chipping to improve your golf game. It is very easy to set up and takedown when done and folds nicely into the cover piece it comes in.It offers three spots to practice for various shot types. These include lob, pitch, and flop shots and with the convenient slope of the bottom piece, it returns the balls into a convenient little pocket to retrieve and set up again.My son and I were outside practicing with it and playing a good old fashioned game of HORSE with it. A little bit harder than playing the basketball version of HORSE but challenging and fun. Makes the time go faster while practicing our chipping.I would recommend this to anybody wanting to improve their chipping game.

When you take it out it springs to life so there isn't a way to figure out from that how it went in the bag. The other difficult part I ran into was getting the fiberglass polls into the right slots to hold up the targets. That part is optional but I wanted to see how to set it up anyway. It took me going back to the Amazon listing to look at the pictures for me to realize that the velcro attachment pieces were actually sleeves. There are instructions on the bag but they aren't super clear. Attaching the runway that catches the ball is also a little tedious, but it's good once it's on.All that said, as chipping nets go, this one is great in use. It's big enough to catch most mishits (depending on how bad you are) and the roll out works great. My son and I had a fun competition once it was setup and I expect to see marked improvement in my chipping after using this for a while.I haven't put this back in the bag and I am not sure I will be able to. It's a bit like trying to fold a fitted sheet, there's a way to do it, but I don't know if I have the skill.

It's on the left-hand side of the photo.I sort of wish I had come back and looked at the product description page on Amazon before I set it up because I was quite confused as to how things went together, and I didn't exactly do it right. Not that I did it super wrong… but there were not really any directions with it. Very self explanatory if you look at the product page, though...I think the neatest thing about this chipping net is that you can set up multiple different configurations depending on what you were trying to do, and that is very appealing. Especially for someone like me whose short game is a study and club head deceleration.I can't comment on the durability but if it fails within the next year I'll come back and let you all know.
