GECKO K17CAS 17 Keys Kalimba Camphor Wood with Bag Set

It's a beautiful Kalimba. Amazing construction and beautiful warm sound. Just be aware that the keys are hard so it would require some amount of pressure to play. Please buy a thumb pick or a finger pick separately. I bought this for a kid and although the keys were themselves very smooth with no sharp edges etc, I was still a bit worried about the kid hurting their nails because kids are kids :) , they are not very careful. So i had to unfortunately return it. But for an adult. player or a grown up kid who can handle this carefully I would absolutely recommend this one. (This is the first Kalimba I experienced so I cannot compare to others, perhaps Kalimba keys are supposed to be hard to avoid any buzz etc)

The media could not be loaded. This sounds absolutely beautiful! The quality of the wood, the tines and sound it produces is high and it's very well crafted as well. If anyone is thinking of getting this, go for it. It's more than worth the price! It's sturdier than hollow kalimbas too. I'd blindly recommend this to anyone!

Changed it to scale c and first few tines buzzed horribly... default scale is good but you would miss C...

I previously ordered a kalimba from another brand on Amazon. It came in a subpar quality packaging and the tines at both the ends were dead. However, this kalimba from Gecko is perfect. The packaging and the product are both great! The instrument is perfectly tuned and sounds nice! Go for it. It is absolutely worth the price.
