I store my recovery gear in this box which includes a snatch block, heavy duty off road bottle jack with accessories, straps and other various items. Altogether about 30 pounds worth of equipment. I purchased the other lid front runner sells so I have more space. I never used the one that came with it but the fit is fine. These boxes aren't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. The plastic is thick, durable and both lids form a tight seal. I left a separate 5 star review for the other lid, it's VERY snug which isn't a bad thing, but requires a little extra force on top to close.

This box is solid, well built with excellent latch upgrade. I don't see these latches breaking. The pro boxes do not stack with the old boxes. They do stack well with other pro boxes. Water resistant and dust tight. No drain holes in the bottom and the lid has a gasket to seal it up. Virtually the same dimensions as the old box. The pro series does not come with the hi-lid option, Hopefully soon.

Great storage container my only complaint is the bottom isn't flat so it slides around very easily.

Strong, well built box and stackable

I bought two...they are expensive but well made. I like them. I am going to buy two more as the size is kinda small but I really like the design. I need more space to store stuff! My rule is you gotta' pay to play and I like quality.

Not water resistant at all. Accidently left one of these boxes on my back porch overnight after a camping trip. We got a light rain (not a sprinkle but not a downpour either) and it was on my back deck. Came out this afternoon, it stopped raining at 3am last night and noticed the box there. Picked it up and noticed it was heavier than the night before so I opened it and half my stuff in the box is no longer useable. Thankfully my pocket stove is ok and most of my pots and pans aside from the coffee pot that had a wooden handle (now a water logged handle). The box was a quarter full of water. After just one night in a light rain. I can understand water getting in while being submerged but not a light rain. Kicker is that there is actually a rubber seal around the lid and I know it was secured correctly.

I will be buying more of this item. They fit perfectly in the Jeep and I am able to pull them out at camp to utilize sleeping area in my Jeep with the Deepsleep sleep system
