Do the trick, ok next to gas stove, blend in
After having a problem with a third-part seller (see below) I reordered these gap covers and made sure that I was ordering directly from Linda's Essentials. The covers arrived quickly and were packaged flat - the covers were folded over just once, in the middle but not creased.I have thought about ordering gap covers for years, not sure why it took so long. These do the trick of preventing food from falling into the gap between the cabinet/counter and the stove. My husband appreciates that since he's the one who moves the stove out for cleaning. I do find though that the covers shift a little and I have to reset them in place but they have not fallen down between my stove and cabinet. I should note that my counters are higher than the stove top so the gap covers sit at a bit of an angle, and my gap might be a little bigger than other's have. The gap covers probably do better if the stove and counter are more evenly aligned. Still, they definitely serve the purpose of preventing food from falling down into that gap and I'm glad to finally have gotten them.I thought I would notice them but once I set them in place and admired them, they kind of disappeared. I really don't notice them being there which to me is a good thing. We have a gas stove and so far (about 2 weeks) they seem unaffected by that heat. I definitely recommend them.Original Seller Experience:I originally purchased these from a third-party seller. I didn't look at the Sold By notation on the far right. I am normally careful to observe whether a product is being fulfilled by Amazon and who the seller is if someone other than Amazon. Somehow I didn't notice this when I placed this order and what I got was sold and shipped by Kiddro. I was sent the wrong color and wrong size. I contacted them and they apologized and said the one I ordered was out of stock and that they would send me a mailing label to return the wrong set. After almost a month, no return label. I contacted Amazon for assistance. They said they would contact the vendor and if I hadn't heard from them in two days, to contact Amazon again for a refund. No reply from the vendor after 4 days so I contacted Amazon and they said they would apply their A-Z Guarantee and I was approved for a refund. I went into my orders and left "Awful" feedback for the vendor with a comment explaining why. I rarely leave bad feedback for any vendor, it's never my intent to hurt someone's business, but they sent me the wrong product and kept my money even after I contacted them. So...Magically, the vendor popped up and sent me a message saying that they issued me a refund and I didn't need to return the wrong gap covers. I think that Amazon must have notified them again that they were going to refund me so the vendor jumped to attention. That's good, but now I'm getting messages (3) from them telling me that it's unfair that I left them bad feedback and asking me to remove it. Unfair? Haha! Seriously? They had a month - a month! - to amend this. My husband and I order from Amazon a few times a week and we have things on subscription (e.g., cat food). We order from Amazon because we know that we can rely on getting our stuff and we can easily return something if required, and we are refunded promptly when due. I don't have time to mess around trying to get a vendor to refund me for their mistake. I requested it and they said they'd send the label. I was perfectly happy to repackage their product and return it to them with their prepaid return label, but they never sent it. Now they are upset with me. Hmmm.Honestly, I was going to change their feedback from 1 star to 3 stars and add to my comment to further explain what happened, but I see now that I can't change seller feedback. Forgot about that but I stand by my original rating. If they had communicated with me about a delay in sending the label, or whatever, different story. They didn't though and now they want me to remove my feedback altogether. I'm not going to though. I rely on other customer's product and seller reviews and I think my situation is something others should know about too when deciding whether to order from someone other than Amazon direct. This situation doesn't affect my review of the product itself, of course. Linda's Essentials/Amazon handled my order perfectly and I think the product is handy.

Creates a seamless covering
Very nice. Formed an instant clean gap covering. We no longer need to worry about food going through the gap between the stove and counter top. Nice clean look. Will buy again. Looks durable but only time will tell. Very functional. Perfect size for what I need.

Prevents crumbs and drips between stove & cabinet
These are great. I didn't need to trim them to fit my stove and counter. They don't go all the way to the back splash, but I'm cool with that. They are definitely preventing crumbs and drips from going down between the stove and cabinet, which was my goal. I do have them "weighted down" in the back because the do move easily.

Works as Expected
Overall I would say this thing works as expected. We have a gap at the back of our range between it and the counter of about an inch and this things makes it not noticeable and easily keeps things from falling in.

Easy to cut to fit most situations
We have had these about a month. The space between our stove and countertop was slightly different heights and the width of the space varied. On these stove gap covers the small ridge underneath that fits into the space is off to one side so the shorter side can go toward your stove, preventing them from getting too close to the heat. They are very easy to cut with a pair of scissors and can easily be cut to fit most situations. Just look at the sizes given in the description and do a quick measure of your space for length and width to make sure they will fit.

A New Purchase for a New House
These are great. However, I did not think to check that my stove and counter were the same height. I have had them at other homes I lived in that's why I purchase them again.

fitness
didn't fit because my stove is higher than the counter so it wouldn't stay in place

Unsightly but effective
These looked incredibly unsightly when first put next to my oven. They still still ridiculous and don’t match but they work and that was the goal. No crumbs down my oven crack!
