Perfect hard boiled eggs, easy to use, no watching over pan.

When I buy something for use in Australia, advertised in Australia, I expect an Australian Plug. It did say I needed to then buy an adaptor.This is very small but hopefully it will workCan only poach 2 eggs, most are 4 eggs.

I find this good for 'boiling'/steaming eggs. Not too impressed with the poaching or omelette function but it was boiled eggs I wanted it for, so no problem. I find it easy and quick. Uses less energy than boiling a small saucepan of water.I experimented a bit, using a clock/timer and find it gives a decent soft/medium 'boiled' egg after 7-8 minutes, from taking it out of the fridge. Hard boiled in 11 minutes.Do remember to make the hole in the 'big end' or you will get a mess!

Perfect eggs in no time at all with minimal efforts. I would say put a bit less water in than the cup states for hard, unless you like a blue yolk.

This is a very device to use. The only quirk compared to boiling the eggs in a pan is that you have peirce the shell with the tool provided.You simply then add the water to machine then add the eggs and switch on. The eggs will then be cooked at the desired level.Depending on the water hardness in your area, or if the eggs are dirty in anyway, you might be left with residue on the heating plate once finished. I found this was easily cleaned.
