This works, but...
Well, I wanted this for a 3 watt led, reduce 12v to 3.1v. So, I connected this to 12v battery and then tried to reduce it but it remained more or less same as input voltage. I then looked at a youtube video in which same issue was there but then he connected it to a higher input voltage. I too then connected this to 24v (two batteries) and then it worked, reduced it to 3.2v. Then I connected it back to 12v input and output remained at 3.2v. Great!
