I've had my 2011 VW golf GTD for 7 yeara now. I've always liked it but the standard head unit isn't very good. No bluetooth, sat nav or phone connectivity. Initially I bought the wrong unit (car play instead of android auto) It's not the clearest and it appears that these 330/360s are changing all the time. It doesn't appear that mirrorlink is supported by newer smart phones either. The seller was very good. They cancelled my order and refunded my money so I could buy the correct version (360 plus 2 with android auto) I did feel a bit uncomfortable buying a non-OEM head unit which wasn't from a known brand either (sony, pioneer, kenwood etc) but from researching the 330/360 seemed the best way to go for value for money and the oem look. I also bought some plastic trim removal tools and researched where the clips were on the plastic surround. I managed to get this off without damaging any (but also found out that you can plastic weld repair the clips using a lighter and zip tie if needs be) the old unit came out really easily (remove 4x t20 bolts). I had a bit of trouble indoing the clip from the wire harness but other than that it was plug and play. 4 bolts back in, pushed the surround back on and that was it. My phone connected immediately via bluetooth. Music and phone worked via bluetooth. The steering wheel controls including the phone button which has never worked... all work. You can adjust the volume and change tracks. The mic for calls is on the front of the unit. I've made one call so far. The caller was clear to me and they said I was also clear. I've connected my phone (samsung s10) to the front of the unit via usb. The usb connection seems a bit on the loose side but it works fine. Now I have spotify and google maps, both of which work really well. The screen is clear and responsive. The buttons and surround look completely oem and are back lit with red light. It looks like it came out of the factory with it. Sound quality seems the same and you can adjust the bass mid and treble via settings. I had an sd card in my last head unit (rcd510) with a load of music on it. I've plugged this into the unit and it works as it did in the previous one.I've taped the ash tray shut underneath and put some rubber trim over the top. My phone sits in there and is connected to the usb via 90 deg usb a to usb c which looks pretty neat. Phone charges from the unit too. The only thing I don't like is when I put the car in reverse it says that no camera is found (I don't have one) you have to press 'ok' to get rid of the message. FM radio also works fine but I doubt I'll use it much. Over all its exactly what I wanted and has brought my car up to date. I just hope that its reliable and lasts well without any faults.

Genuinely Excellent! I went with this one after seeing the reviews on some others that had various issues despite it being much more expensive and It was well worth the extra price. Fitting took 20 minutes and was hassle free. It integrates far better with the car than I expected (It shows a visual readout of the proximity of objects behind you on the parking sensors for instance, whereas in the past it just beeped, it also reads the time and temperature from the car)Screen brightness adjusts with the brightness control for the dashboard lights, which is a nice touch. The hardware and software is fantastic, there's nothing that would lead you to belive this isn't an original OEM unit that shipped with the car. Delighted!I didn't have any battery leakage issues or problems with the unit not turing off with the ignition, but there were instructions included as to what to do if that did occur, including a cable to power the unit from the fuse box, which on my Caddy at least looked like it would have been a fairly straightforward job if I'd had to do it.Minor Gripes:- Since this has been installed, the parking sensors will continue to beep when you take the vehicle out of reverse and leave it in neutral, unless you tap an X on the touch screen, or drive the vehicle forwards.- The USB port is very close to the gear stick on my 2013 Caddy Maxi, meaning the cable gets in the way of the stick a little unless its tucked out of the way.Overall would absolutely recommend.

Worked for 2 weeks. Then one day tried to use it and screen was totally blank. Audio, Buttons and Touchscreen worked however you have no idea what you were pressing or doing. No option to speak to seller and by looking online the fix is to solder something on the motherboard. Only option which was offered was to return the device. Returned.

I’ve just installed this into my Vw golf mk5 I had to buy the additional adapter so I don’t have battery drain so far the system works great no lag however only downfall is that the screen quality is no crisp it seems like it is 720p apart from that the screen is great

Bought this for a VW Polo 2013 as the factory radio did not have any phone connectivity. Product arrived quickly and well packaged. Instructions were easy enough to follow and the old unit was removed and new unit installed in less than 1 he by myself. It was a really simple installation and is plug and play. Apple play works a dream and is also compatible with the cars parking sensors. Phone is clear for both driver and the other caller. Looks and feels just like a factory VW unit. Overall exceeded my expectations and great addition to car.

Was skeptical about buying this for my GTI, but I've fitted it, and it works a charm, and it's made my speakers sound better than my old head unit, I've only been using it for a few weeks, but am quite impressed so far!
