All and all the sheet is working well. Sometime A girl I didn’t lose a tool due to failure of the pouch that came with it. I’ve been using the product for a couple of weeks and it seems to be working well. If it works for ever and the tour never gets lost I am going to be satisfiedSomethings to note: if you carry your Leatherman all the time like I do sometimes this item can be a bit Pinchy when you take a nap on it or when you’re wrestling. ( I told you I wear it all the time)Also you have to be very particular about the way you put it in or it jams are simply doesn’t fit. But me this hasn’t been a problem It didn’t take long at all for me to become proficient at putting the two in the sheath quickly and without trouble.

Perfect alternative to the pouch
Over time I'd have to put a little squeeze on the holster due to constant use, but this holster allows you to carry on belt or even in pocket. I got this because we weren't supposed to carry them at work. (let's face it, we live by the multi tool!) it's durable, light weight, and fits anywhere.Highly recommend this product.

It could be great but...
I really wanted to love this product. In fact, I've purchased two, one with the bit holder slot, and one without. They are both presently sitting on my shelf while I try and come up with a solution to the deficiency in the design. I've tried to contact RAE about my problem, but I get no response, so I gave up on that avenue. Now, this concept isn't a new one. Adam Savage did a video about how he makes his leatherman aluminum friction holster. It's very similar in concept, though the RAE gear version is a bit more refined as one would expect from a mass produced product. The problem is the clip. RAE Gear has chosen to go with a riveted spring steel clip, which means that there's no recourse if you brush against something, or it gets snagged and bends the clip out of shape. At that point, the holster is ruined. It will no longer attach securely to your belt, and since it's riveted to the body of the holster, it's all but impossible to fix.I spent a LOT of time trying to find a replacement clip that would work, but nothing matches the hole pattern. I considered blank clips and a drill, but that left me with figuring out how to attach the new clip, which leads to buying a huge number of rivets and rivet punch to set it in place. This whole process could be avoided if they'd just stamped the holster with a counter sink and attached the clip with Chicago screws, and if they offered kits to replace/repair failed clips. But they didn't do that, and they don't offer those things, and I can't get anyone at RAE to respond to me on how to fix my situation. For now, I have 80 bucks worth of useless holsters. Until I figure out a way to fix it on my own. I'm disappointed.

Get it. That’s it. Get it.
This is a fantastic product. I have carried (for a decade) a Leatherman Juice in one pocket and a Benchmade lock blade in the other. I carried both due to my use and needs. Ideally, carrying a Leatherman Wave would have been the idea tool to do everything. I hated the sheath that comes with the Wave. This solves it. I don’t even know it’s on my belt. I bought the larger clip size to fit on my trainer belt. Perfect combination. Perfect retention and stout construction. Don’t hesitate.

Nice alternative. Works well but easily bends out of shape allowing for rattles and not so secure fit.
I like it. It holds the Leatherman and has a satisfying sound as you clip it in. Its low profile and not bulky at all. But it is made of super thin material that bends easily which takes away snug fit rather easily. Fit and finish needs work. One side touches the Leatherman while the other has a gap. Rivets holding the clip are not tight allowing the clip to have slop.
