Great lamp!
It's a great lamp. No regrets. I was worried the heat resistant plastic guard housing would off gas, but that has not happened. There was a slight smell on its initial use, but no odor at all after that first time. Arm adjusts nicely and seems safe. The base is very sturdy. It is helping me with muscle spasms, tightness, soreness. Also lifts my mood when used on my abdomen. It does not help inflammation in my knees, so I don't use it there.

this is how to secure the head in place!
The media could not be loaded. great product.Not sure why it glows red though.It says nothing about red light.It's advertised as doing near and far infrared light.Wave Depth goes from, red light, near infrared, and (far) infrared.Red light helps skin and hair growth, near helps wound repair, joint pain, etc. Far helps chronic illness and deeper pain.

Sturdy design - First Class Quality! moment.
I was surprised at how heavy the box was - the solid base (so it won't tip over when you're using it!) weighs 13.3 pounds!The design is excellent and all of the parts are great quality. It's very easy to use, and you just position the direction to act upon the body part needing it most at that moment. Highly recommend this winner!

A decent infrared light lamp
This is my first infrared light lamp, I got this type because it has both far and near light. Overall quality is decent, but due to the weight of the head, it is hard to adjust the position of the head. It is constantly coming out of the socket and usually doesn't stay in the position I need it. The base of lamp is rather heavy, I guess to balance off the head, and it's rather hard to move around. But I am very pleased with how the lamp works, it gives me a relief from different ailments, even though I haven't been well completely from what I hoped for.

Relaxes muscles
excellent product, for some reason, the light makes me relax and sleep which is a good thing for me. It helps with muscle pain and that sleep promotion that this product gives is a bonus.

Head is only 5". Company lied :(
I asked on the questions size of the head and the company answered 7". This was untrue. I received the lamp and its only 5". The plastic around it may be 7", but the heating element and plate is 5". Deceptive :(
