Love these window box planters. All my herbs are doing great. Before I replanted them in these planters, I was spraying/watering them every day. Haven't touched them for over a week now. The boxes fit perfectly on my windowsills. They are sturdy, attractive and functional.

These pots are a nice compact size, well made. I like the self-watering feature. Packaged well for shipping. Worth the money.

These are very easy to assemble and use. It comes in 3 pieces. Inner container with drainage holes (colored), outer container (cream), and a strip of cloth per planter. To assemble, just put the cloth through the drainage holes and fill up the planter as you normally would and add water. They are narrow so you can put them horizontally to see more, or if you don't have space, stack them and they are pretty compact.I've used them for chives, other herbs, and lettuce and they are really happy in there and I only water once a week normally and twice a week when there is a heat wave.The containers are small, so measure what you want to plant in them beforehand. Herbs are fine. The lettuce was too big/planter too small.Over time, the dirt gets out of the inner container and so the interior of the outer container starts to look dirty and fogs up with screen where you see water levels. I use a towel and wipe/rinse that out every few months. And when the plants get larger, the roots wrap around the strip of cloth too, so transferring is more work, but the planter is still effective.

These are a great size and work perfectly for herbs

I was hoping this would fit where are shutters are but just a touch too wide. My bad. Measure twice, buy once. However, they are now on my kitchen counter for herbs and one on the edge of the bathtub with some flowers in it. They take very little space and I don't have to worry about whether they have enough water.

I really like these self watering planters. I just wish they would make bigger sizes as smaller plants outgrow these quickly. I have other self watering planters and I like this one as you can see the water level.
