Works just fine for this Hvac installer
I'm an hvac installer and have been using this flair tool for almost two years with zero issues. I was very surprised because the big brand name ones can go up to a couple hundred dollars. I've probably done a couple hundred flairs on soft copper refrigeration lines with these and they're still going!

Works as it should
My package did not have any instructions included so I had to improvise by visiting the HD website and viewed instructions on a competitors product. The design appeared exactly similar so I downloaded the one page instruction sheet and was able to flare my first 1/2 inch tube. Many reviews state concerns that a 1/2 inch pipe does not fit in this tool. Remember that this is a tubing bender and not a pipe bender. Tubing diameter is measured using O.D. Outside Diameter. 1/2 inch copper pipe, L or K, has an outside diameter of 5/8 of an inch. Overall, this tool represents a good, solid value. I recommend practicing first on some scrap tubing before making your final flare.

Very easy to use, good price, happy with my purchase.
I bought a cheap one at harbor freight originally and I couldn't get it to work at all. I think it was defective but this one works well and it's easy to use as long as you follow the instructions. I used it to cut and flare the AC lines of a mini split AC unit and had a professional do the final connections and told me I did a good job with it. I'm pretty happy with my purchase and saved money since they didn't have to flare the connections themselves.

This has to be the best flaring tool i have ever used. It really lays out a beautiful flare by way the bit wobbles as it makes the flare!!

Cumbersome to use
It works okay, but it is very cumbersome to use and handle. Also, when I received this product it was already used and and not new. There was an actual piece of copper tube still in one of the slots.
