Gets the job done old school style exactly like it’s supposed to.Why spent huge money on these when it’s really the caliper that has to have tremendous precision? I am very happy with the quality.

I thought the contact points would be much thinner. because if thick there could actually be a difference between 1 side of the contact point and the other side. especially in a graduating slope such as in a shotgun barrel manufactured with a full choke. lead shot is illegal to use while waterfowl hunting. and steel shot is dangerous if used in a barrel manufactured in full choke. so, my old Marlin Goose Gun is useless until I cut the choke in the barrel back to the point that the choke is at the modified point in the barrel. you can imagine that I've put a lot of thought into the measurement that I'm going to tell the gunsmith to cut the barrel back to. as of now the measurement is 1 and 3/4 inches off the tip of the barrel.

I have no complaints. These snap gauges operate smoothly and hold the set position.Pros - Very affordableCons - None
