Q: From what ive looked up the main power can be split one running to highs amp other running to capacitor to the sub?

That is correct. You can also have separate splitters for the sub and the 4+ channel amp. Being that it is DC it constantly runs through the "hot" positive wire. I only needed an amp for my subwoofer, so I used the splitter as almost a "secondary battery source" with the wire from the battery to the splitter branching to the subwoofer and the capacitor seperately

Q: How many volts can this thing take. I need a 480v line split up.

This is designed for 12 volt use.

Q: What material is it made from? Copper?

I would assume CCA I guess it could be tinned copper but I doubt it..

Since i already have this block, can i use it to convert 0 guage to 4 gauge or do i have to actually use the block thats made for 0gauge to 4guage

The threads give up when tightening

Cannot tighten ypur terminals without the threads stripping. Mine was a 4 gauge ofc cable with a ferrule. Broke the second time of tightening.

Great for big 3 upgrade

Great for doing the big 3 upgrade. I fitted 70mm cable for my big 3 which is bigger than 0 gauge. This was easy to install, cover can be brittle but hasn’t come off yet

Works good so far. The cover is a little flimsy but it hasn’t fallen off or anything yet so I think it’s fine
