Fantastic communication system for dirt bikes, Awesome seller!
This review for the Fodsport M1-S Plus.I received the M1-S Plus units as a replacement for the FX7 units that I had ordered. No issues with the FX7, it just didn't fit my particular needs. The seller offered to exchange the FX7s for the M1-S units. The M1-S Plus is a very nice com unit that gives the ability to connect an "old school" Ipod shuffle through the available aux port. The units worked flawlessly on mountain single track and gave us the ability to communicate about upcoming trail obstacles and helped keep our group of 9 riders together even though my wife and I were the only ones with coms. The sound quality is very good and we were able to carry on conversations as if we were standing right in front of each other. She was able to listen to her music while simultaneously being able to communicate with me which was awesome. The range in the woods is pretty good. We did loose connection a couple of times due to the wooded mountainous terrain but it automatically reconnected once she got back within range. I would say the real world range is around a 1/4 mile in woods and hills but much further in open terrain. Battery life is good as we used the units for over 2.5 hours and still had over 50% battery remaining. Setup was easy.I would definitely recommend the M1-S Plus if you’re looking for a communication unit that gives the ability to connect to other devices via an AUX cable. The seller “Fodsports Direct” was great to deal with. Very responsive to questions and went out of their way to help make sure I had the right units for my needs.

Easy to use. Connected right up each morning on a month-long motorcycle ride.
Bought a pair of these for a ride across the USA last June. They worked well. I wish the range was further than 1/10 of a mile but they work great when you're within range. Note: all Bluetooth headsets I have ever tried only worked a short distance and this device was no different. They all advertise much longer distance but that is with perfect conditions: on a clear sunny day, flat level surface, with no other vehicles, hills or obstructions. But when do you ever have those conditions at the same time? (hint: never)

Nice affordable option
Connectivity is a breeze. But the speakers could be much better. Battery does last a long time.

Works great!
Works great! My son and husband received these for Christmas and we bought another one for his best friend. They work very well and they can communicate on the road while riding together.

Nice product
This was a great substitute for what I need. They make one to fit my helmet perfectly but to expensive for my wallet.

OK first impressions
I've been using Lexin intercoms (Same as EJEAS V6) for a couple of years and been "pretty" happy with them. We ONLY used them for intercoms (helmet to helmet, same bike), so keep that in mind. We could hear each other at highway speeds but there is a LOT of wind noise ALL of the time with the LEXIN. The FX4 units have CVC technology, so I thought I'd try them out and it does cut out ALMOST all of the wind noise. MAJOR difference. The sound quality is a little better and a little louder than my LEXIN pair. Sometimes, the CVC will cut out part of a word or two, but so far, it's not a problem. The boom mic is flimsy and the foam wind screen is pretty thick. Wish the boom was a little more rigid.I like that these use a standard 3.5mm jack for the headset. No proprietary connection. As a matter of fact, they work with my LEXIN headsets, no problem, so I have spares. This was a big deal for me.I do plan to use the phone functions on the FX4, so I will update once I have a little experience.Supposedly, the FX4s will connect to the LEXINs, but I have not tried it yet.UPDATE:I ran into a flaw with the phone and can't find a resolution. If my wife and I are connected on the intercom and one of us receives a call which we answer, if the other person presses the intercom button, it disconnects the call on the other headset but doesn't hang up. I tried every button to return to the call but the only thing I can do is hang up. If anybody has a better solution, please let me know. This is not a huge deal since we mainly use them for intercoms, but it does appear to be a flaw. If it creates a problem, I'll disconnect the bluetooth with the phone and only use the intercoms.

Not just for motorcycle helmets
My wife and I got e bikes and started riding them. The thought was its something else we can do together. We rode a few time and found we can't ride side by side much if at all so we end up not being able to talk. I got this intercom set and installed it on our helmets. Sticking the main device on the side of the bike helmet was pretty much the same as a motorcycle helmet. The speakers and boom mike had to be stuck on differently. I use the velcro speaker mounts and cut them in half and placed them at the top of the ear arch. They hang out a bit but end up being right above the ear and work great for hearing each other. The boom mike had to be mounted on the side of the helmet which makes the orientation off but I was able to twist the boom slightly and get it close to the correct side towards our mouths. In operation they worked very well. We were able to communicate even when almost out of sight on a straight away. The noise reduction worked well. Bicycles just don't go as fast as a motorcycle so there is never going to be as much wind noise. I highly recommend these if you want to be able to talk while riding bikes.
