Still uses ancient Mini USB connector

Everything about these units that I've tested have been very good for the price. I can talk clearly and hear clearly all the way up through the 65+mph range. If you set the speakers in the right spot in your helmet, of course. That can be a little challenging depending on your personal set up.They are just like most other bluetooths. Connecting to your phone is easy. Getting used to the different button commands may take a little time, but it's mostly pretty intuitive.Ultimately, it's a great little system that won't cost you as much as other big, well known brands. The ONLY thing I dislike, is as I mentioned in the title: it's not USB-C. It's the dreaded Mirco USB connection, with the flat side with two small prongs. So just be very careful, because these connectors are notoriously short lived. If they had swapped that out for a standard C connection, it'd be perfect.

Best ever

Me and my husband used these while snowmobiling and they were perfect. Batteries lasted forever. Sound quality awesome. Bluetooth connects to your phone so you can talk while riding. Very little background noise. Worth every penny!!! Don’t hesitate to buy these they’re worth it!

Works really well and sound is decent for the price

Install was super easy and loved the 2 mic options that were included. 1 for open-face helmets and 1 for closed-face. You do need to read the instructions for setting up and pairing with the other unit and or with your phone. The sound quality was a little off when we first installed but found that I didn't have the headphones and mic plugged in all the way. Needed to make sure it was pressed in hard and then the sound improved. The intercom function sounds good and the hands-free communication is great. It's not the best sound quality for music played from my phone but it works well and switches from music to voice or phone call without issue.

Amazing battery life

Used these on a recent motorcycle trip with a friend. Ran the intercom for over 8hrs and the battery only dropped to 80%. Sound quality and volume is great. Obviously at higher speeds you are fighting wind noise but that partially depends on your helmet. Range is decent but works mainly on line of sight. Hills/curves/etc between riders will cause a little static. Linking two intercoms was super easy. Tried linking a 3rd headset that was a Cardo but couldn’t figure it out. I believe it can be done but linking more than 2 headsets or with other brands becomes increasingly difficult and complicated. Overall these worked amazing and were worth the money for the trip.

Easy to use. Connected right up each morning on a month-long motorcycle ride.

Bought a pair of these for a ride across the USA last June. They worked well. I wish the range was further than 1/10 of a mile but they work great when you're within range. Note: all Bluetooth headsets I have ever tried only worked a short distance and this device was no different. They all advertise much longer distance but that is with perfect conditions: on a clear sunny day, flat level surface, with no other vehicles, hills or obstructions. But when do you ever have those conditions at the same time? (hint: never)

OK first impressions

I've been using Lexin intercoms (Same as EJEAS V6) for a couple of years and been "pretty" happy with them. We ONLY used them for intercoms (helmet to helmet, same bike), so keep that in mind. We could hear each other at highway speeds but there is a LOT of wind noise ALL of the time with the LEXIN. The FX4 units have CVC technology, so I thought I'd try them out and it does cut out ALMOST all of the wind noise. MAJOR difference. The sound quality is a little better and a little louder than my LEXIN pair. Sometimes, the CVC will cut out part of a word or two, but so far, it's not a problem. The boom mic is flimsy and the foam wind screen is pretty thick. Wish the boom was a little more rigid.I like that these use a standard 3.5mm jack for the headset. No proprietary connection. As a matter of fact, they work with my LEXIN headsets, no problem, so I have spares. This was a big deal for me.I do plan to use the phone functions on the FX4, so I will update once I have a little experience.Supposedly, the FX4s will connect to the LEXINs, but I have not tried it yet.UPDATE:I ran into a flaw with the phone and can't find a resolution. If my wife and I are connected on the intercom and one of us receives a call which we answer, if the other person presses the intercom button, it disconnects the call on the other headset but doesn't hang up. I tried every button to return to the call but the only thing I can do is hang up. If anybody has a better solution, please let me know. This is not a huge deal since we mainly use them for intercoms, but it does appear to be a flaw. If it creates a problem, I'll disconnect the bluetooth with the phone and only use the intercoms.

Worked perfectly!

They work as advertised and honestly I don't think music sounds bad at all, it comes through loud and clear.
