ReolinkLumus Spotlight WiFi Camera Outdoor Wired, 4MP Color Night Vision, Home Wifi CCTV System for 24/7 Protection, 2-Way Talk & Siren Alarm, Smart AI Detection, Cloud/SD Card Storage

This is my 4th reolink camera (various types)and purchased it for being able to view my pond and its a brilliant little camera I have it set quite sensitive as we have wildlife around who love to try and get the fish , excellent quality picture , night vision is the same and with the addition of the spotlight coming on has scared some aminals away ,its easy to connect and use either in the app or on computer wifi range is good and price was fantastic so very happy with it

I now have x2 of the V2 version as previously had the 1080p versions (which were great anyway). The V2 version now has a 4MP (2k) resolution and can connect to Wifi 2ghz and 5ghz which is what swung it for me to upgrade to get the better display and more reliable connection with 5ghz. It also has the benefit of a more intelligent detection algorithm to separate motion detection for Person/Animal/Vehicle, which if you can get the slider levels just right - works really well. I did have a few issues with this but contacting Reolink Support really help me understand these settings and how to get rid of some false alerts and reduce unwanted motion detection, so it really is worth contacting them if you have any issues.I have one camera above my front door (effectively using it as a ring doorbell, but without a push button) so it alerts me before anyone even gets near the front door and rings my standard doorbell, which is great as the detection is almost instant on motion detect. The other is covering my garden office. The two way sound works really well and the image quality is extremely clear. You get so many features through the Reolink App so you can tailor exactly what you need through its many settings.I highly recommend this camera for the great many features it has, image clarity, amazing price and it's ease of use and it's size allows you to put it just about anywhere. As above, my experience over the years with Reolink Support has been very positive (even though there is a time difference here in the UK).

I purchased this with a mains extension lead(Sanhuii DC 5 volt power make to female) a micro so card(Samsung eco plus 128gb), which was everything needed for me to install and set up for them in their back garden, as they had recently had a theft from it.Installation is quite easy, in most cases you would be able to fit the camera using pre-fitted cable straight through external wall into a room for easy power up.Build quality is good, solid camera body well made, mount seems sturdy, the tightening fixture has a metal knuckle where it tightens for desired angle, which I feel works well, it can easily hit desired angle(view) with its adjustment mechanism and is easy to set when up a ladder, not to fiddly to tighten even if your fingers have mildly less optimal function.Cable is of a decent quality firmly attached and easily waterproof.Power brick is good quality no complaints, sturdy, feels solid and cable is standard really.I feel it’s build quality will hold up well under weathering.Setup is easily done first, before fitting, there are a few steps and with only a WiFi(no Ethernet connection cable) you need to make sure both placement and whilst setting up you are in a strong signal area. This is the only mildly limiting feature in my opinion, but, you’d only buy this if you knew your WiFi signal is good where you would want to install, perhaps worth going up a ladder with a mobile and holding it next to the wall in the place you’d wish to fit it, “just to make sure the wall doesn’t block signal!!”….Once connected it offers a plethora of settings and modes, handily if you have a narrow garden you can block areas in view by scribbling on screen, for example, so that a neighbour putting washing on line won’t set it off, neighbours pet in their garden won’t set it off etc.Light works well, and has a variety of setting for convenience, alarm loudness from device is decent, and the “device notification” on your phone or tablet/laptop is reasonably quick, little delay.The two way speaker so you can communicate with perhaps a delivery driver or even an intruder, has decent volume and clarity.Picture quality, perhaps the most important thing. On device is good, clear, doesn’t lag, it provides a decent clear and good quality picture when watching on device screen. I don’t have any knowledge of picture quality if you remove micro sd card and view saved footage in a laptop/tablet, as I have not done so, but I would expect it to be of good quality.I myself have purchased various cctv cameras of this “price range” and slightly burger, and I would suggest that in the making of this camera, in my opinion, they have spent the money in the right places on this camera.In conclusion, if a static camera at this price point is what you’re looking for, I would recommend this, so much so that I intend to purchase one for myself at some point for use on my garage, which whilst already partially covered, I’d like an individual camera to cover the approach & door.⚠️Warning ⚠️ only connects to a 2.4ghz WiFi signal so check router(most routers are 2.4ghz), and you need to make sure you purchase the correct voltage power extension cable or it won’t work, saw & read that on various other reviews, on here & YouTube.Any diy’er or practical person can fit & set this up.Hope that helps…👍🏻

Unbeknownst to me, I received an upgraded model, which I've come to think of as the 'Lumus V2.' This version introduces dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, a significant improvement over my 2021 model. The enhanced AI detection and software updates provide a remarkably expanded feature set, including an enjoyable time-lapse function.Initially, I anticipated receiving the same Lumus camera I had in 2021. However, the 'V2' is a substantial upgrade, offering a 'beast mode' level of enhancement. After struggling with numerous unreliable, generic security cameras, I've found Reolink to be a consistently reliable and feature-rich solution.Both my 2021 and 2025 Lumus cameras work flawlessly with my Home Assistant setup, my Android smartphone, and the Windows 11 application. I'm particularly impressed with the functionality and user-friendliness of the Windows app.As a genuine customer, without any affiliation or monetization, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product.Pros:Crystal-clear, high-quality images.Robust and durable build.Highly customizable settings within the app.Effortless integration with Google Home, Android, and Windows 11.Cons:I honestly cannot find any."
