Blown away by how good this filter is!
Beautifully crafted filter. You can tell as soon as you pick it up that it's the business. Weighty, solid & the clicks are so satisfying when rotating between stops.I've used this on a few shoots now whilst shooting in HLG3 and SLOG 2 & 3, perfect for shooting with fast primes during the day and keeping your shutter speed down. When editing I've not noticed any colour cast, and if there is it's very easily fixed whilst making basic adjustments to green / magenta slider. Its at a great price point too 👌

Very good quality. Superb price. I was not disappointed….
I bought both filters available which gave me the full range of stops I require for video work. They are hard stopped to prevent continuous full circle motion. This makes it also, much easier to remove the filter from a lens when fitted the quality of both filters by far exceeded my expectations and each comes with a magnetic lens cover which is a really nice touch. If you bought another filter of the same quality, I would expect you would pay much more of a price in comparison…..

A clear quality upgrade
I have just ordered a new Lumix camera after far too many years with an ancient Canon and decided I need to get serious about filters to match the overall upgrade in quality. Having generally used cheaper quality filters, I was initially taken aback by the price, but now I can see the fantastic difference in image quality. Everything about this Freewell is right. It's easy to use, and the hard stops give real peace of mind when calculating exposure using my hand-held light meter. The design is slim, and the functionality exudes quality when changing the stops. Obviously, it affects the brightness, but that is the primary purpose, and I find the filter easy to fit or remove. I ordered the 77mm and will use a stepper ring for smaller lenses.

Good value, but they have changed
Great value for money, but they have silently changed these since I originally bought them. The old versions had a smooth, end to end hard stops and came with a nice metal case/holder. Now they don't come with a case and they have what Freewell call "haptic feedback", which means that at each stop, there is a small click to tell you where you are. This is super annoying and I wish they would have kept it the way it was, smooth. Something to also note is that although there is a neutral color shift with these filters, they still shift. They slightly warm up the image, and that something to be aware of.

Really good quality
For the price, no blurriness, no degradation of image quality, no black spots or shading. Used solidly each day over six months on a Sony FX3 with Sony 24-70 GM II. Would recommend.

Nice quality
So I'm a total amateur and this is the first Nd filter I've ever bought but it has 4 clear tones and none of the vignetting people talk about with other filters or the big scarry X thingy either. Quite a big difference in tone between 2 and 5 so should meet my needs for outdoor filming. Packaging is a little cheap plastic box but mine will be living on the lense anyway. Nice magnetic cover/ cap also. Very happy with my purchase so far. Price has just shot up from 90 quid to 125.

Better than I thought.....
I'd read poor reviews of variable ND filters in the past, but decided to give this a go. I was very pleased with the results. There has been no colour cast, and also there has not been any cross polarisation, which is one of the things I was concerned about. The product seems to be robust, and I particularly appreciated the markings on the ring - telling me which ND setting I was using.....
