Bright and useful
I gave these as Christmas presents to all of my coworkers. Living in the boonies with no streetlights around, safety is important to us. Don't wear out your car battery with your emergency flashers when broke down. These will definitely signal your distress and keep you visible from a good distance! Also has a flashlight mode! Great addition to your car emergency/safety kit!

batteries ???
this is a very good product , my c/o are on the edge --- this product requires a total of 36 AAA batteries --- I made the assumption the units would come fully functional - batteries are extra... - the way that the battery compartment is designed - it would appear the units go back together in about any lay flat position, but they do not - if you have "no" experience with anything mechanical it may take you a while to figure that out -- use the hanger hook to "slowly" remove battery compartment ( after removing the two screws) -- take 3 of your 36 aaa batteries and insert --- then making sure you have the cap on correct position replace the 2 screws using the super tiny Philips head screw driver they provide (it works pretty good ) once cap is replaced it provides what appears to be an excellent weather seal and I would bet these things can withstand a massive downpour -- might want to keep them inside your vehicle as opposed to in a cold trunk -( to maintain battery readiness) , and to be reminded to check on occasion to be sure battery's are still charged ---- over all I would say they are overpriced but still worth it as a quality product -- and a safety item. ----- suggestion - maybe mark each half with a marker before you take apart to ease reassembly

Wish I could buy the company
The media could not be loaded. I like EVERYTHING about this device. Just as described and better! What I am showing in my images is: 1. It can be held in place on a magnetic surface. 2. It can be propped up on a flat surface with the pull out J arm. 3. I can be threaded once or multiple times through as few or as many of the loops on the edge, for whatever purpose or simply for hanging. 4. It comes neatly packaged, and conveniently accompanied by a little Phillips screwdriver to handle the screws on the battery bay. 5. What you can't see here is: There is a very thin silicone lip between the two halves which come apart to place/remove the batteries, making the battery bay somewhat protected from the water. 6. One of the lighting sequence options flashes Morse Code for S.O.S. (..._ _ _...). 7. The last push of the button lights up the white flashlight up front by itself, and it's quite bright. I am very, very pleased with this product, glad I bought a bunch, may be buying more. I am in Emergency services, I go out in the water paddling, I go biking, and I could use an evolution to the emergency traffic flares I've always kept in my vehicles. WOW! Really. It is great.

A Clean, Safe, & Affordable Alternative to Emergency Road Flares
As I looked at the product & gently handle it while inserting 3 "AAA" Batteries into each of the 12 LED Road Flare, Emergency Roadside Safety Beacon Disc Warning Flare Lights, I felt like they were cheaply designed. I say cheaply because for a few pennies more, they could have added a rubber gasket between the top & bottom portions of the Led Units. This would have increased the life span of the product by a number of years. For now I expect that the average life span would be about a year, if used once in a year, in a dry climate. If it is used in a wet climate, such as if it were used once during a rain or snow event, I expect the unit to corrode within 6 months, as there is nothing to prevent the dampness from getting into the battery compartment of the unit. This is a simple fix as I am already working on getting my own gaskets for them. This should of been picked up in the design phase of the product. I am not sure on the impact resistance of these LED Road Flare, Emergency Roadside Safety Beacon Disc Warning Flare Lights. They seem sturdy enough to take an impact by a passing motorist tire. Only time will tell on that. Some of the good points was the affordability at a dozen of them for just about $55.00 which puts them at about $4.59 a piece. Plus they are much safer & last hours longer than the traditional road side flares which usually cost around $3.50 a piece. Be prepared for an annual maintenance fee of around $25.00 for these 12 LED Road Flare, Emergency Roadside Safety Beacon Disc Warning Flare Lights. You will need to replace the 3 "AAA" batteries in each unit at least once a year whether you used them or not. I felt like this was affordable & a much safer option to the traditional road flares. I was able to stick 3 additional LED Road Flares that I had previously purchased in with the 12 in the carry case. This makes for easy storage & acess when needed. Overall I was satisfied with the purchase.

These are great!!
The media could not be loaded. After the wife And I pulled out a vehicle stuck in the snow on the side of the road without any flares or emergency lights, we decided to get some. We were going to buy 3 name brand lights for each of our vehicles, but we got 6 a piece for damn near the same price. They all work and they’re bright!! They magnetize to my vehicle very well. They seem sturdy enough. The worst part about them is getting batteries in all 12. It just took a little bit of time. I used a cordless drill to make it quicker. Using that screwdriver that came with them would have taken FOREVER!! For the price, these work great!!

I hope to never need these
I bought these to carry in our truck in case we break down, primarily when we are pulling our camper. I started thinking about it when we came upon a disabled truck and trailer at night and it was on a corner. They were barely off the road and it could have been a bad situation had we not been paying attention. There were many sets that were 3 or 6 lights but I want to be sure we are seen so with 12 lights I should be able to light up the night sky. I have not needed to use these and hope to never need them. I put rechargeable batteries in them so they are rechargeable and I checked each one to make sure they all work. If I should need them, I should be good to go. Peace of mind is worth a lot.
