You cannot go wrong with Tweezerman, and they have a free sharpening service if you send your product to their headquarters in Texas. I wish I would have gotten the 1/4 inch jaw instead of the 1/2 inch but they still work great. Very sturdy and sharp!

HOW TO SOLVE ALL OF YOUR PROBLEMS: 3-IN-ONE Multi-Purpose Oil, 3 oz.I got these for the wife since I see Tweezerman as a reputable company selling high quality stuff, and she came back to me rather disappointed when the nippers would not open. I tried it out and sure enough, they were as stiff as a post.I immediately went and got some oil and just put a bit (really, a drop will do) in the hinge and where the metal meets the metal, open and close it a few times to get the oil moving around and they will be working perfectly. I also put a bit of oil where the 2 spring bars meet in the middle.Clean up all the excess oil and you are good to go.Now I think they should not come like this, how does this get past quality control? If they even have quality control... But after an easy fix they work great so should it be a 4 or 5 star product? I don't know, the overall quality of the product lead me to put 5 stars as it is very well manufactured.Also, The oil I linked above is just the one I have, you can buy it or something similar at any local store, it does not have to be that exact one (probably cheaper locally too).

The cuticle nippers were easily broken near the claw. I do not recommend for professional use.

This was my second time purchasing this cuticle nipper as I sadly misplaced my first one! It's a great manicure tool and I use it regularly, also comes in handy with those annoying hangnails. Quality design and construction - I happily buy most of my grooming tools from Tweezerman.

Sharp and well made nippers. They will trim nails even though the package tells you they're not made for that purpose. Grip on handles could be improved.

Works well as cuticle clippers as as nail clippers. In fact, I've tossed all my nail clippers after buying these since they're much more precise/easy to use for cutting nails. Lives up to the Tweezerman quality as well.
