Great whetstone/puck for affordable price
Great product. Used it immediately out of the box. Took only a few short minutes to soak the stone and get it ready. Once I was prepared, I was able to bring my very dull knife edge to a beautiful and clean, polished edge that slices through paper like butter now. I also bought this to try on a small hatchet I had purchased not but two or three summers ago and it was so dull it couldn't even cut kindling for a camp fire but now its so sharp I even redid the handle so it wont slip out of my hand when using it and hurt someone by accident. All in all a top notch item for a whetstone, I was happy to see all my blades finally in working condition and couldnt be happier with the purchase, would absolutely recommend this even for a beginner as long as you take your time, watch videos and tutorials on proper technique, go slow and work up to a speed that is comfortable for you. Again, great product 10/10.As a side comment: I noticed a review from someone who claims they have been doing this kind of thing for several years and yet was disappointed to find their stone had molded after putting it away still wet inside the little bamboo carrying case it comes with (so handy by the way), well word of advice to that guy and anyone reading this: LET YOUR STONE DRY BEFORE STORING IT. It cant be that hard to know that if you put something wet into a sealed container, its probably going to mildew (not mold, inorganic things like rocks cant grow mold) so practice a little common sense and let it sit out a few nights on a towel and that should remove the excess water inside the stone, remembering to flip it to get both sides dry...I mean if you cant do that small task then dont buy this and then blame the company for your own short sightedness.

Very Solid
Very solid and sturdy, in a beautiful container. Whatever you do be careful which side you put down into the box. The dark grey side at the bottom of the container gets stuck and needs to be pried out. The green side down is safe. I did this within 30 seconds of opening my package and panicked, I thought I would have to destroy the wood container to get the stone out, luckily with a little maneuvering, I was able to wiggle it out.

Its versatile,
I bought the Sharp Pebble Puck/Disk twice, At first I was researching good sharpening stones for my knives I'm a chef, So I came across this product while doing so, I've bought a number of stones Multi-grade stone for different levels of cutting edged tools. Depending on how bad the item is to began with. So I received it tried it out on my 8-10 inch chef knife. Followed the simple instructions. Instant results. Now like I said if your tool is dull, Like anything else that's been neglected you'll work a little harder. But with this stone it makes it a lot easier. So I bought 2, One for my knife set and one for my outside tools. Ax, shears, Machete swords. Great product.

Sharp at last
I have been looking for a sharpener that would be easy for some of the old tools that I pick up at yard sales. One was found in a utility box full of water and heavily corroded. I could not get an edge on it that would make it useful. The pebble works. It fits nicely in my hand and I love the wooden storage box. Not having to us oil is great. It can stay with the camping gear without having to bring oil to get all over other things.

Bamboo box does not fit!
After receiving the wet stone I put it in the bamboo box to see how it all went together for storage. Removing the wet stone then required 15 minutes and a vice because once the stone was put in, it was almost impossible to get out. In a panic, I debated breaking the box to get it out. I spent a half hour using a knife on the box to try to make it less tight but it is still too tight. Only one side of the box is too tight. The wet stone itself looks pretty good, but I have not used it yet.
