Fun puzzle game!
Really good puzzle game. My 6/7 year old daughter loved this game! I wouldnt say it was especially difficult but it was lots of fun and did require her to use her brain power at least a little. She really enjoyed it! Good quality game, good value.

Family fun.
This was a fun little game that we played last family game night. It was challenging enough for the kids, but not too hard that the youngest could not keep up.

Great day in activity
My partner and I have ben playing the EXIT games for years.Such a good day in activity for those rainy days or when you want to do something a bit different. Can keep you hooked for multiple hours without getting bored. I'd say the difficulty level marked on the box is quite accurate to the gameplay experience. All in all amazing value for money, high quality game and hours of fun guaranteed!

The easiest
By far the easiest we've played so far. Not much fun for people who are used to play these kinds of escape games, it's basically just easy riddles, and sometimes, overexplained as well. Good fun for beginners maybe. Still a great idea of a game.

Haunted Rollercoaster - Great evening of family fun
We played as a family of four with our sons aged 8 and 12. If you read through the instructions carefully beforehand the game is easy to set up and is clearly explained. We've never done a real life escape room experience before and this is the first home escape room of this range we've tried. We darkened the room, lit candles and lava lamps and used the atmospheric soundtrack that comes with the free app for a more 'haunted experience'. The app also has a timer for the game and will 'score' your game at the end giving you a star rating based on the time spent and the number of help cards used. The game itself is not at all scary so fine for younger players, but the soundtrack can get a bit eerie for younger children. The game has around ten challenges and it took us 1hr 58m to complete. Some puzzles are more tricky than others but eventually the penny dropped with each. There are Help Card cards to give you hints but we did not have to use these. This is a marked as a 'beginner level' which I think is about right and for ages 10 and up which I also think is OK. Our 8 year old perhaps did not 'solve' any of the riddles but it was at a level where he could contribute ideas and had plenty to do that meant he was still actively included. Best played around a table so all can see and be involved. Can only really be played once but for the money, two hours of quality entertainment for a family of four seems good value to me. We have the Mysterious Museum to play next.

Great for littles
Fun, engaging game. Great introduction to Exit games. My 6 year old loves it and hasn't got bored as there are multiple variations of each challenge

Bear in mind , this is a SINGLE use game…
We actually bought this as a birthday present but, we have played it before. It is NOT an easy game and is certainly not for a beginner. That said it did keep us entertained for a few days. There is a lot of lateral thinking needed and that is as much as I will say about the game play.We actually did cheat somewhat regarding the single use element of the game as there are pieces of the game which need to be cut up so we actually photocopied them using the copies instead of the original game cards to be cut and it worked, so we can now hand this game over to others to play at no extra cost to them.

It puzzles were not cryptic
For the quality of the construction and game pieces, I couldn't fault it. Just use pencil lightly then rub out any of the answers and it can be passed on to the charity shop. It is a one time game. We knew that but some people do not realise once you know the answers, the game is done.As for game play, My group and I found the puzzles and answers a bit silly, we expected something more cryptic,. Understanding how to play was frustrating and just boring, we were trying to make the game harder than it actually was. Once we looked up what was expected we rolled the answers out in minutes. Now we know how to play we don't want to. These type of games are either on your wave length and you love them or they not and you will hate them.
