Perfect for ASRock H77 IR receiver in Silverstone HTPC case (with USB cable connection)
I am using this in my HTPC as the input for the IR Receiver of a Rosewill Windows Media Center remote control. I used a blank serial port knockout on the rear of the Silverstone case. The single-port USB pin fits onto the H77 proprietary CIR pins and is used with the ASRock IR receiver that can be ordered directly from ASRock. As it happens the Rosewill Remote control comes with its own IR receiver that operates via a standard USB port but I am not using that receiver in this system.

Seems to work well. I couldn't find any documentation on which of the connectors was power – it's not mentioned on the website, packaging, or connector. (Red cable is +5V).

Works exactly as indented! Great for a Teensy 4.1
I order this for use with a Teensy4.1's USB Host mode. It plugged right in and the wires are correctly color coordinated. Works great!

Great for installing internal USB devices
Used this to include a USB audio device inside of a PC case. It works perfectly for this purpose and is fairly rugged. My device seems pretty snug and secure.
