I have to rave about this brush. My hair is not in great shape so I've been using pure argan oil on it. It was recommended to use a boar bristle brush to help distribute the oil evenly through the hair. I have an old boar bristle brush that I never use because it only brushes the outside of my hair and does nothing to the distribute hair oils. This Kent brush is the perfect solution. The pins pick up my hair and help to get the bristles down into all my hair. Perfect! I've only been using it a few days but I can already see a difference. My hair looks smoother and no frizzy.Also, I notice that the pins are gentle on my head. They feel sharp in my hand, but they feel pleasant on my scalp. I have to remember to start on the ends and work up to my scalp to get the best effect.

Bought full size & pocket size..very nice brushes

I'm Sleepy Jim's wife and I ordered this brush for my long wavy hair. My hair reaches my waist. This brush easily untangles the tangles and glides through the waves. The little black rounded tips on the longer clear plastic bristles do not get stuck in my hair or cause tangling like other similar brushes. I was surprised at how easily it glides through my thick wavy hair. At first, before using it, the brush appeared to be too delicate and the bristles appeared to be flimsy and inadequate. But, eventually, I opened the package, removed the brush, and tried it on wet clean hair. I discovered that this brush is excellent, feels good in the hand, and is terrific for brushing hair! Also, the overall visual design of the brush is very pleasing - the wood is beautiful and is rounded and tapered very nicely. I like it! I'm happy! I've been using this brush for only a few weeks, so I don't know how many years it will survive...

Excellent product

The boar bristles are soft and long, and the nylon bristles penetrate thick hair. I have fine hair and a soft head. This brush is comfortable yet effective in removing tangles in long hair. Just start at the bottom of your hair and move up gradually for an effective and smoothing styling that doesn't hurt.

Love it so much. The old one is broken after used for years. Got a new one!

EDIT:*After almost a year, during which I took good care to clean and maintain the brush, the plastic bristles started losing the tips making it scratchy. It does still get out tangles, but I would caution to be VERY careful with it. The company stood behind their product and sent me another, so we'll see how long it lasts.*This brush is great! I have thick, wavy, LONG hair(to my waist). This brush really tackles the job. I wash my hair naturally, with baking soda, and the natural boar bristles helps to distribute any oil in my hair without looking greasy. The nylon really gets the snags and tangles free with out ripping my hair out. The wood handle is very sturdy, and comfortable to hang on to. I see this lasting me a long, long time!I tried to find something made in the USA, but the one I could find wasn't very appealing with it's plastic handle. This is made in England and has 'HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN's seal of approval. I also found that they make Wooden socket, large size, pure bristle (badger effect) by KENT as well, which are made with the same high quality.
