Powerful small light for both handgun and long guns
Olight PL-Pro gun light is a updated version of PL-2. PL-2 uses 2 CR123 and PL-Pro has a built in battery recharges with included magnetic charging cable which is also compatible with other Olight flashlights that can recharge through MCC charging cable. Some people, including myself, dislike the built-in batteries in any light. But Olight does provide 2 years warranty if there is any problem.PL-Pro uses Cree XHP35 HI neutral white LED that can produce 1500 lumen at max where PL-2 is max at 1200 lumen. The LED bulb is protected by TIR lens that gives a very tight, circular light pattern that can light up 50+ ft away easily. The tint of the light is labeled neutral white but visually it is more on the yellowish wavelength. Some people may not like the tint, but I find the yellowish tint is easier on the eyes.Runtime on the light is closely similar to what the factory stated about 45min on high 1500 lumen(beam will drop down to 600 lumen in about 2 minutes). User interface is simple with dual ambidextrous switches. While on, double click the switch will change the light setting between 1500 lumen and 300 lumen, and click both switches will activate 1500 lumen strobes.PL-Pro comes with Glock rail system and MIL-STD-1913 rail adapter. I was able to mount the light directly my shotgun rail without any modification to 1913 adapter. The light can be fitted with magnetic remote finger switch on the charging port and makes it a perfect light for long guns. With small profile it does not add too much weight to the weapon.Overall this is one solid and powerful light for handgun or long guns.

Fabulous product if you don’t need a long battery life
This light far exceeded my expectations for the price. Quick realease really is quick and simple, with a very solid connection. Magnetic charging cable is a cool feature, with an LED that changes from red to green when charging is complete. Battery lasts at least a couple of weeks in storage without any material degradation. For usage inside a home, the dimmer of the two brightness settings is perfect, and the arc of illumination is appropriate. The strobe feature is extremely bright and easy to activate. The bright setting is extremely bright, especially for such a small unit, but it burns through the battery quickly. The light will dim automatically as the battery discharges, leaving you at least 30 minutes of run-time on low brightness after the battery starts getting low. If you leave it on low from the start, you get a lot longer. Zero complaints with product or seller.

Bright light
I bought my son a Staccato P for farther day and he wanted a light that would go to the end of the barrel look sleek and not take away from the firearm itself. I use olight on my carry cause they have small options for my Beretta px4 storm. Fits perfect on a Staccato P and looks great

10/10 Would recommend the brightest pistol light on the market.
Build quality is superb, every part of the light inspires confidence. The aluminum unibody is well machined and the anodizing is high quality. The magnetic charger, which I thought was gimmicky at first, is actually super helpful when plugging in after a long day. It makes charging an afterthought with how easy it is.It as by far the brightest pistol light I've ever used, brighter than a Surefire x300U, it has a nice hot spot and good spill. At 5 yards I would say it's about as wide as a doorframe. Which is perfect for shooting indoors, yet still has enough power to be able to reach out in an outdoor setting. The tint is pretty warm, which is good for color acquisition, but I would say not as piercing as a cooler tint when on the receiving end. But due to how bright it is, it's still more blinding than a x300U.The buttons at first, really sucked for me, coming from lights with a paddle, the side buttons felt unnatural. It made me break my grip in a way that didn't feel as secure as sweeping you support hand thumb down to actuate a paddle, the side press didn't feel as confident or as fast. However, after using them and breaking them in, I got used to them and they feel just as fast as paddles. I do think they're a bit harder to get into and would require more practice, so you don't ND when manipulating the light.Overall, 10/10 would recommend this light. Olight is showing a lot promise and it's refreshing to see someone push the envelope on what a pistol light can do. I would be interested to see a PL-Pro 2.

seems like a good light so far
I bought this just to see if its a viable option for a pistol light and I'm pretty happy with it. I like the way it charges and it has a QD mount so you can take it off the rail easily to charge it. it has a super bright mode that I should have not used on myself. and a lower bright mode that also I should not have used on myself. I hope these guys keep up with the innovation and push streamlight and surefire to step up their game in the future. BTW the 3 stars for the durability is just because I am not really familiar with the durability it feels really solid and the charging cable is magnetic so I don't think you can really do too much damage to it by plugging it in to charge
