Good, cheap, clean
Over the years I've used several different brands of flux core in my Hobart machines, from cheaper brands to expensive brands. This is the cheapest brand I've bought and it is by far the best. Prior to this I disliked flux core so much, I went out and bought a tank and started using gas which can get kind of expensive. When looking to buy some more solid wire, I ran across this wire and thought I'd buy it as a backup, just in case I ran out of gas in the middle of a project. I tried it and now I wonder why I went with gas at all. It spatters very little and flows great. Now I'm using the gas as a backup when/if I run out of this flux core . Much cheaper this way.An old TV commercial used to sell something by saying "it's good stuff, cheap".This is one of those things.

Nicer than HF wire
First impressions:1) beads have more slag than HF wire2) beads clean up shinier than HF wire3) sure seemed like A LOT less smoke after making a run4) so much easier to grind out and sand down it blew my mindWelds seem plenty strong. So far I like it very much. Shipping was super fast. Excellent company.

Good wire for the price
Got this to replace some Weldcote that I had ran out on. This was USA made and a good price. I will say it has been a little of a a learning curve getting used to this new wire. Penetration is good, but I have had tea modify my settings on my welder, and get used to wear The Sweet Spot is for this wire. Penetration is good and welds come out very nice. A copious amount of slag does form compared to the weld coat brand wire, which had more of a Dusty slag. This often times needs to be hammered off with this wire. It does make a pretty nice bead. Candles very light surface rust and other inclusions well.

Best Value & Performance
Delivered in excellent shape with no shipping damage. Wire is would neatly and feeds through my 140 Amp welder like butter. Slag chips off with just a light brushing and hammering needed. If you have a DC welder, make sure you are using the correct polarity!!! Flux-cored welding requires DC electrode negative. Get your machine setup correctly and this wire performs! So much better wire then the Chinese H-Freight wires I have used. And it is made in the USA or so the box says. I don't have much experience with the big H-bart wire and don't think I will with how good this wire is. I am so pleased with this product I ordered a second roll as a back up. 10 out of 10! Will and did buy again.

From a lousy welder: this stuff is great
I like this better than even the Inetub stuff, which is really nice stuff. Better than Blue demon, Lincoln and Vulcan. I'm actually able to do body work/stitch welds with this wire and not blow through sheet metal, something I can't do with other brands. I'm using a forney 140 welder.

Definitely will reorder
The wire works great. There is a small learning curve with the welder settings. I am using a Lincoln welder for 18 years. Tried a number of brands and kept going back to Lincoln wire. I like flux core so I don’t have to deal with tank refills. This brand however is a winner. So much less spatter then any of the other brands. Leaves a bit of slag that chips of with a light scratch awl or stiff metal brush. I had no trouble welding up 4x4 1/4 wall tubing with passes. Just remember to chip away the slag between passes.

Best bang for my buck!
It was really hard for me to find a good wire to do multipass jobs. This stuff works great. Cleans up easily, pretty shiny welds, strong!
