Great little Jeep
On time and undamaged. Nicely detailed and simple model suitable for beginners or advanced modelers looking to add extensive features. Comparable to the Tamiya kit of the same scale in detail and ease of building. I have built several Italeri and Tamiya kits and I am perfectly happy with both. You can make a great diorama with the Jeep as the focal point or use the Jeep as an addition to a larger subject. Adding a trailer or towed small artillery piece just adds to the experience. I have ordered as mayas three of these at a time dressing them out uniquely so my General Patton figure could escorted to the front by support personnel. Makes a good base model for an ambulance and I even made one to ferry my bomber crews to the flight line. Have fun! No stress modeling!

WWII Willys Jeep replica
I am using this model to create a replica of the Jeep my father drove in Europe with the 4th Infantry Division from D-Day to the end of the war in Europe. It is pretty detailed for a 1/35th scale. I have not completed it as of yet. So far, the pieces fit well and I am very satisfied with it.

Old kit, but still great
I think I built this kit twice as a kid growing up. The second time I did much better, having acquired skill over the years. It is nice in that it has a detailed engine, something no other 1/35 Jeep kit had at the time, including Tamiya. Although there are other offerings now that rival this kit, it is still good quality for the price. I'm planning on building this kit a 3rd time soon for a diorama project. :)

Same Old Molds from the 1970s, but with better Plastic
I built one of these as a boy in the late 1970s, when Italeri's resin had more ABS in the mix, which required using a solvent cement containing methylene chloride (Plastruct Plastic Weld with the orange label)I needed a kit for a diorama project, so I bought the new one - made from the same molds as the old version. The new, softer, polystyrene resin is easier to shave when removing flas and parting lines, and glues together much better than the older kit. However, the old molds lack detail in critical places, and the figures need serious sculpting if you are going to get anything resembling a scale human face out of them. Also, Italeri didn't believe in locating tabs to make joining the parts in their correct alignment an enjoyable process, and you can expect to get at least one gluey fingerprint in a place where it takes some serious scraping and filing to clean up the blemish.Overall, it's a decent, inexpensive kit for making a Jeep in a crate, or a background item in a diorama, but if you want a display quality model, this isn't it.
