Great kitchen helper for good amateur cook
Adore this flipper! Wanted metal to use on cast iron pans, and wanted small size to fit in 10" skillet. Perfect for that, but"turned" out to be useful for lifting other foods between pans, the way a slotted spoon works. Seems sturdy. Handwashing so don't know how dishwasher would affect it. VERY PLEASED, price was good too.

fantastic
This one has become my go to spatula for everything. I gave one to my sister-in-law and before I could even ask her if she wanted it she grabbed it out of my hand effusively say Thank you! Thank you! Apparently she'd been wanting one for a while.

Multi-purpose, may not be perfect, but is excellent
I've had this for a year or more, so I've had time to evaluate it.The handle I'm not crazy about.. not that it is bad. I mean it doesn't get hot from being in a pan and is strong. It doesn't "fit the hand" and is slippery if you're working on messy or greasy stuff. The rest of it makes up for all this. The "working end" is great. It is thin and "sharp" in that it gets under those "less than perfect" no-stick cases and doesn't break up the food with a dull, blunt edge.I also love the "combination angle" where only the lower third is at an angle and the bulk of the blade is parallel to the handle.. I can see how perhaps if you used it at the bottom of a deep pan or at the very edge of a moderate pan, it might be an issue.. I've not had that problem. I use it in baking pans and skillet-like pans.. it isn't a problem there. The "curves" may look haphazard, but they seem to be just right to fit in and around almost any bowl, skillet, pan, etc. where it is needed. It's easily strong enough to act as a lift for about any food.. even rather heavy items like a chicken or large fish. It's length is a real help on long things like a meat roll or a fish.Plus this design seems to be just right in "openness" vs strength. I have put real muscle on it and it just springs to work, flexing as needed. It can whip through things like eggs or pancake batter too, doubling as a makeshift whisk. The quality of the stainless is superior. No rust or discoloration no matter how you soak it or wash it (or don't).. it just keeps on shining through. Easily cleaned and dishwasher-safe.

It is a multitasker!
I use this utensil to flip hamburger patties, fish, and stir frys. It also multitasks as a pot strainer when used with a small to medium saucepan, for boiled pasta/ramen noodles/vegetables. Chopping ground beef into small bits as it cooks for tacos and Tex-Mex meals is no problem.I rated this utensil 4/5 stars, because the handle feels a bit short for my adult man-sized hands, but the business end of this utensil is very good. The spatula flexes a small amount, and is firm enough to scrape cast iron pans of light debris. I would avoid the direct use of this utensil against Teflon coated pans. This utensil is made in China, but I do not smell any off-putting metallic smells after hand washing, or while in use.

Handy Helper
I bought my first Flexi Spatula on line. It was a two-piece set. The 11-inch spatula was the smallest. I frequently entertain family and friends at my home. They all help in the kitchen when I prepare a meal. My 11-inch Flexi Spatula is one of the favorite utensils used for cooking eggs, or anything in a skillet. It slides easily under the food and is broad enough to lift the food without breaking it apart. The larger spatula is great to use for cooking on the grill. My husband loves the way it slides under the hamburger without leaving any meat stuck to the grill, and the longer dimension keeps his hand from the heat. I bought this second Flexi Spatula for my son. He has moved out on his own, and taken several "family favorites" with him. I didn't mind replacing the other things, but he cannot have my Flexi Spatula! I was pleased to find another one for him. I would love to get the larger one as well. I have found similar spatulas in stores, but they are not quite the same as the Kuhn Rikon Cooks' Flexi Spatula.Kuhn Rikon Cooks' 11-Inch Flexi Spatula

I intend to be buried with this spatula.
I am writing this review after having this spatula for over a nine years. This spatula has proved an exceptional purchase, the handle has a heft to it and the blade has a good amount of flex but is sturdy enough to do things like flip larger pancakes or scrape burned cheese off a pan; it strikes a nice balance of having a blade thick enough to fulfill the grand majority of tasks yet thin enough to flex and shimmy under things. My spatula has survived neglect in communal kitchens, countless scrapes, drops, and dish washing cycles, yet is no worse for wear.I have only ever purchased one fish spatula for myself and have no desire to ever purchase another.

High Quality Fish Spatula
Kuhn Rikon is known for making high quality tools and this one definitely delivers. A great fish spatula for all your cooking needs,.I find it a lot more useful than a traditional one. The head flexes well and retains it's shape with ease. The handle does not get hot when cooking for long periods. I like that it's completely stainless steel so I don't have to worry about damaging the handle or having anything melt around pots and pans. 11" is large enough to where I don't need to worry about anything falling off or being too large to handle. A high quality and very useful kitchen tool.

Wrong Size Received
The product description & image are of Kuhn Rikon Cooks' 11-Inch Large Spatula (pictured with 7 tines) Product received is substantially smaller and only has 6 tines. It is also stiffer than the larger spatula and would not flex as well to get under the food. I have the large version pictured on the site and is by far my favorite spatula ever, but is not it. I was buying another for a holiday gift. I gave it a 3 because I'm sure it's a nice spatula, but It is not what was ordered, and it is going back.
