I love this little USB hub Y cable. Fixes a big issue with reception for my Logitech Unifying Reciever and 3dconnexion SpaceMouse Reciever while keeping my desk clean.Was extremely impressed with the thick cable, the length between the USB ports and the hub electronics were perfect for me.And it actually is an active USB hub. I wasn't sure if this was just a passive USB charging Y cable or something.I have a USB end clipped to each side of my monitor desk stand and keeps the mouse recievers far away from the computer electronics, dock electronics, and even hub electronics. I've had big issues with Logi and 3dconnexion recievers having major reception problems when plugged directly into the desktop or the thunderbolt hub and this solves the problem.Plus now I'm not burning two USB ports on the dock. It's only USB 2.0, but again, I'm using it for mouse recievers and probably only ever will so it's perfect.

I use this to attach an ergonomic keyboard to my laptop. The other adapter connects to my Fitbit charger. The length gives me versatility to manage where the cords go. A minor problem is that the USB connector can get loose when the cable is bumped. Otherwise, it works great.

I ordered one of the two-port splitters and was impressed when I first opened the box. The cables are extra thick and the plugs appeared to be vey substantial. One problem: one of the ports didn’t work.I went to send them a message and realized that they had already sent me a follow-up email on my order, asking me if i was happy with the product. I wrote back, explaining the issue to them, but said it wasn’t worth my effort to return an $8.99 product.They responded within two days to get my shipping address, and told me a new one replacement was on the way, no return needed. Well, it arrived just a few days later and works perfectly.I couldn’t be happier. Very responsive customer service and they really do stand behind their products. This is a great company to do business with.

Bought this with an SSD and SCSI to USB connector to use in my Tesla for the TeslaCam/Music drive. Has worked perfectly so far. I have not tried to plug anything else into the second USB yet. So far just using as an extension. But I will need the power over USB for my phone charging pad that has been ordered. It provides just enough length, power and seems durable. This splitter feels very rugged.I purchased it so I could use my wife’s single USB port in her 2017 Honda odyssey to charge a phone and power her dash cam.Doing the above would let her 12v connection be free for her garmin GPS because she doesn’t have CarPlay in her trim level.While this feels very rugged and constructed well it did not work for the above purpose. It will not charge an iPhone XR through either port. The splitter does work through because both ports do power the dash cam.I will be returning this as it does not provide enough power to charge a cell phone in an automotive setup.

This sturdy splitter seems unlikely to fail from lack of TLC. I'm a big believer in color coded stuff. I never understood why outdoorsy types would get camo equipment to bring into the woods with them. Much too easy to lose IMO. The black version of everything can make accessories unnecessarily hard to find. My need was to split my TVs USB port to run double bias light LED strips. It works well to be sure but it a case like this, for me personally, bright colors aren't a requirement. It's not a fault per se; just the only quibble I can make about an otherwise excellent and well made USB splitter...you can see it.

i was having trouble with the hubs i had and looking to replace them. i haven't had the hengsheng 2-port hubs long, but they seem much sturdier than their predecessors and more serviceable. on one of my previous 4-port hubs a very thin wire broke; the wires on the hengsheng are thick--more like a cable than a wire. another one of my older hubs would not recognize a second device plugged into it; the second hard drive i connected to ezch of the hengshengs easily hooked into the system. i gave it a only 3 for durability because i don't know how they will hold up, but i'd be surprised if they don't.
