I have read bad reviews about this brand
I have read bad reviews about this brand, but in my experience the Ventech fan and filters are great. The first one lasted about a year I pushed it a bit so I'd say 9 months of constant use. I think if you have somewhat clean and relatively low dust areas it should last fine. I got my last filter from "low baller" and it came quick enough, 8 days from purchase. Will buy again. Thanks!

I don't know if the Carbon Charcoal was bad or nonexistent
For some reason this Carbon Charcoal Filter just did not work at all !!! I don't know if the Carbon Charcoal was bad or nonexistent, I just know that I pulled my old filter out and used it and to my surprise it still done the job. Nothing against Ven Tech because I had great success with other products they make. This one filter was very bad I should have gave it one star.

Well contructed but...
When i got this unit it looked to be very nicely made. I bought this to replace a larger one. When i installed it the unit was very ineffective. I figured maybe it was too small. Well i just bought a new one and its small too but works much more effective. Maybe i just got a bad one?

Better than Vivosun or ipower
Definitely better build than those two and the carbon is ground finer allowing less smell and more carbon to fit in it.Can't speak for longevity yet.

Worked great although be careful of the charcoal inside dont let it get sucked up and potentially destroy your can fan or get blown into your room.

effective air cleaner
We bought this as a filter for cigarette smoke in the basement. I was concerned it wouldn't be able to move enough air to be effective. This thing is a lot bigger than I expected and it heavy! With some fandangeling I got it hooked up and seems to be doing the trick. We'll see how long it lasts before needing to be replaced.

Perfect for smelly grow room venting
WOW This thing is a monster! It is heavy too. Very well put together, and works amazingly. I smell nothing outside now. Perfect for smelly grow room venting!
